The Saints At Port St Lucie

It’s been some while since I played saints. Of course condition seemed to come back from the drought and freeze.A good layout always lots of fun.

Ongoing theme is slow play. Players hitting from the wrong tee for their skill levels.

Horrible pace of play,, we were supposed to star at two and really started at 2:20 and we could not finish the round. Therebwere not ranger at the course, the foursome in front of us played like there were the owners and nobody else could play

Tee times are just 7 minutes apart. You get to the par 3 and there are 3 groups waiting. Would be a course we would like to play often, but with pace of play it doesn’t make for a very nice round.

The staff were very friendly. The conditions were generally green from tee to green even though it's been dry for the past three months. The layout was good. The pace of play was painfully slow almost 5 hr round. A marshal should have moved groups along. There were 4-5 holes open in front of the two groups ahead of us.

Believe they are overbooking, late in the day. I was scheduled to play at 3:15, and only got 7 holes in because they required the carts to be returned by 5:45.

The layout was nice, but the drought and recent cold snap (well below freezing) have taken their toll. The green were pretty rough, with bare spots and lots of invasive grasses.

Don’t play here until mgmt gets a clue. Takes over 3 hrs to play 9, lucky to get 18 in under 6. Staff said it’s been this way for quite awhile but mgmt won’t do anything. Walked off after 3 holes the last two times I played so won’t go back there.

Greens on the front

9 were decent but on the back 9 ugly. We allowed ourselves a 2 out maximum du to all the hole and bumps.

This is the absolute worst course for pace of play. You will never finish a round in 4 hours. Additionally, you have to return carts by 5:45 PM. So if you start at 1 you might finish. The grass is all brown if there is grass. The greens have weeds on them.
