Country Lake Golf Club

I've played Country Lakes many times. It's a nice course for the area. It plays fairly easy, and is not a long course. In my opinion it is a little over-priced for what it is, and where it is, but not too bad. I can usually always find a good deal on Golf Now.

I live in STL & was on way to CoMo for a basketball game so Warrenton was a perfect place to play: easy on, easy off. Course was in great shape especially for November. Zoysia was brown & a little sparse, but surrounds, rough & greens were good (greens were in mid-season form!). Tee boxes were a little beat up, but okay. Staff was friendly & asked how round was & invited me back.

The course was on our way so we swung by and we're happy we did. The course reads short on the scorecard, however played much longer. Good elevation changes throughout the course also.

It's worth the trip

Course conditions are always great. Greens are always watered & fairways nicely cut. The staff is always friendly.

Country lake is a little bit of a drive for most of us western STL people, but it's worth it. The rates are always good and the course is well kept. The layout itself is not overly exciting, but there are a couple of really tough holes mixed in. The greens roll true and fairways and rough were good. I've played multiple rounds out there and each time I enjoy myself.

The course was in excellent shape. I would definitely play it again and recommend it to my golfing buddies

Greens were fine. Tee boxes (although mowed) have plenty of water grass. Some brown/dirt spots in the fairway. Short course with not much to the par three's.

We love this course. When we owned a bar and grill in St. Charles, had 9 outings there. The owners and staff are very nice.

Great overall course, nice rates keep me coming back atleast once a week to play this realitvely small course. This course can eat your lunch if u don't play careful, the hard dog legs and changing elevation of the fairways keeps u honest. There is no tee it up and smack, plan your shots here boys.

I decided to play here because of how cheap the green fees were. the staff were very friendly and accommodating and I really enjoyed the layout of the course. However, out of all the courses I have played this year, Country Lakes was by far in the worst shape. Fairways were spotty, rough was way too long, and the bunkers were in awful shape. Better course maintenance would make this a fun course because it does offer some very unique shots.

Condition of this course was outstanding, my compliments to the greens keeper!

if you hit ball 5 yards off fairway you lose it. Let's go fire up the tractors and cut the rough. also overbooked which made for very slow play, nice little course, don't recommend it on weekend but probably much more enjoyable during week

Had a great time by ourselves! Only ones on the course this day. Greens were firm but in great shape. Love this course. Friendliest staff around!

I enjoyed this course a lot. It is challenging for an average golfer like myself. The course was in excellent condition, the fairways were good and so were the greens. There are some fairly long par threes, and the par fours are reachable in two if you hit them straight. I will play this course again.

Scorecard had 162 yards for one of the par 3's from the red tees but the sign showed 104 yards. Noticed a difference on another hole as well.

I enjoy playing this course. It is not long but can be challenging. Very enjoyable course to play.
