This course offers a little bit of everything.
Good conditions for play. Fairways could stand some manicuring but, they were playable. A lot of risk - reward holes.
very fast play
I use this track as a practice round, fast play as a single under 3hrs..
Short but fun.
Tee boxes, fairways and greens were in great shape. The rough was more than a little too shaggy. We lost several balls that were just off the fairway(+/- 3yards) in the rough with 4 people looking. Overall an extremely enjoyable experience despite the 50+ mile drive.
Great place to play
Great layout. Pretty views. Short course makes for low scoring, but hills, water, sand, etc still make it a challenge.
An excellent day for golf
The weather and the course were the best so far this year. Fairways in good shape and greens rolling fast and true. Excellent course for all level of golfers.
A great hidden away course
One of my all time favorite courses to sneak away to. The staff is beyond excellent and the course itself is fun to play for all levels of golfers.
It has a few rough spots, but nothing that can't be overcome when it comes to the condition of the course as the value and fun over come it. And the best part, you're not playing a course that is surrounded by homes!
Course needs a little help
In past years, this course has been in fairly good condition all year round. Noticed this year there was a lot of areas on the course that are in need of some help. Several fairways have some bad spots, a majority of tee boxes are in bad shape, and a couple greens need some help.
There are other areas around whole facility that need attention as well. Bathroom at 14th hole was backup and flowing from floor drain onto floor, cart paths are falling apart all over the place as well.
Was still a good deal for the online hot deal price, but not as nice a course as it used to be in years past unless they do some serious maintenance.
Great Value
The course was in good condition, the weather was perfect. The staff was very helpful and I enjoyed myself a great deal. I would recommend this course to any of my friends.
Great course
I love this course. I drive an hour to get there and play there about 20 times a year. Very good shape for February. Hardly anyone out there, so pace of play was right up my alley. I like to play fast. Weather turned out to be great, so all in all, a great day.
winter golf
Any chance to play these days is a treat, considering the winter we're having. I have played this course several times ,though, and in my opinion its an ego booster! Fairly short and forgiving, and a pleasure to play! I play from the whites, can't say how much the blues stretch it.
Good course, well maintained, I like the fact that it is not surrounded by houses. A nature course for sure.
The process went smoothly and the course staff were outstanding, very cordial and friendly. It was a beautiful December day and the course was in great shape considering it was December in Missouri. We had the course practically to ourselves and I really enjoyed the layout. I shot well except for that one ten. I will tell my friends and hope to be back soon.
great course
this course has some very challenging holes and also some player friendly holes greens are always well maintained and if your playing by yourself seems like you wind up teaming up with someone else the people that play here are very friendly and if your a beginner like me they are always willing to help you out.
The price was right
Because there were very few golfers playing the PM hours maintenance on the course became a little bothersome.
Country Lake has been my favorite course for many years.
I like Country Lake golf course very much, it has been in my most fun to play courses for years. This was my first time out there this year and I'm glad I went, I had a great time.
The Great Unknown
The course is in really good shape. Not long, even from the back tees, but challenging, especially with the postage size greens. Staff very friendly and helpful. Am going to play it again soon.
fun to play, too many short par 4's
The course is lovely in terms of landscape and all the lakes, however very rough cart paths, and in many locations, the areas around the greens much in need of repair. Overall, enjoyed the course, and what a value thru GolfNow!
Great day of golf
This course is pretty open, but there is some tree and water trouble on some holes. The greens were playing pretty fast for the damp conditions we had. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and grabbed a towel and offered to wipe the cart seat for rain. Overall, I'm glad we made the trip to this course and plan on returning soon.
