Disappointing to see what has happened
I used to play this course pretty frequently, but it recently got purchased by another individual and the course has gone downhill. There was weeds and dandelions all over the course making ball hit into the fairway, even almost impossible to find the greens were burnt and destroyed in multiple sections throughout the course, you can tell that the greens were not cleaned of water and it’s just burnt up on the greens. This summer has heat has been very bad. Also, very disappointed to see that the tea boxes were in some of the worst shape we ever saw. In fact on one hole the tea boxes were set up where the sprinkler head was so we had to move.
Nice day at the course
Had a great time even though it was hot. Witnessed a hole in one on hole 8, so that was fun. Staff extremely friendly and an accommodating. Beer was cold the hotdogs perfect and water coolers were being filled and replaced on the course and clubhouse.
GPS upgrade/Cart paths
This course needs gps on the carts. This is the only complaint except for the cart paths needing repair. You have several holes you have no idea if the group ahead is safe.
Slow pace
12 carts backed up to tee off
Went out 40 minutes late
5.5 hour round
No marshal or beverage cart
When the group in front of us called the clubhouse they were told it’s Father’s Day, sorry.
Advice to the owner, 8 minute tee times don’t work at Bear Creek and they don’t work here.
It’s going to be a long time before I come back to my go to course.

Even though it was cart path only, the course was in excellent shape. Greens were receptive and rolled true and fast.
