Warrenton Golf Course

As always we had just a great time playing this wonderful course. We enjoy playing this course so much that we normally play it once a week.

I heard that Bear Creek bought this course, and I play BC often so I had to try it out. Warrenton GC is a really cool layout that is pretty wide open. However, they have a couple holes with some aggressive doglegs that you may want to leave the big stick in the bag. It is a great family style course where I feel that my wife would enjoy it. It is very scenic and well maintained. The amenities are ...OK, I mean they have cold beer at good prices and hot dogs were good on the turn. This particular day there wasn't a beverage cart, but I went during the early morning so I am not surprised. I will definitely play this course again. It is an outstanding value and Bear Creek is doing a really good job maintaining it/upgrading it.

slow, slow slow ,excruciatingly slow pace of play. just awful pace of play

First time playing this course. My wife and I only played the front nine. Course was in great shape and I like the layout. Course is wide open and very is to find balls in the rough.

Course was in great shape. Played on Monday so it wasn’t too crowded. Great round of golf except for my score.

Course was is good shape and I enjoy the layout, but our foursome had to change carts four times during the round! Carts need to be charged before sending them out!

Expected it to be slow today but this was too much. Every tee box had three groups waiting. Just no rhythm to he had and the lack of a marshal was surprising on July 3rd

What a gem this place is.

Quite a few dog legs that very from 7 iron to driver off tee.

Greens in really nice condition with plenty of tilt to make it interesting.

They just moved tees back which makes par 3’s longer and much more fun to play..

You must know club distances and be fairly accurate.

Staff personnel very pleasant.

Being able to play golf on a Friday of Memorial weekend with the covid virus going on...this turned out to be a great day with great weather on one of my favorite golf courses that I always enjoy playing...in other words, this just made my day.

My wife and played. Waited out the rain about 45 min past our tee time and they were gracious enough to let us play. The course was perfect even after a full morning of rain. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was just the two of us on the course for the entire day.

Always love playing this course. The pace of play was extremely slow today, waited on every tee. Almost a 5 hour round. I will be back to give it another try.

Not a very challenging course. Felt over booked. Took us 20 minutes after our scheduled tee time to tee off. Greens were rough and the fairways felt matted down. If the pace of play was better, it would have been a much more enjoyable round.
