Always Great!
Hard to beat this course. Demands great shot making. You will use all of your clubs. Greens wer in good shape, not super fast.
Slow
It’s a fun course and played it before but I alway get frustrated at pace of play and lack of ranger. This round was the worst. Started the back at 5 pm. 3 hrs later we finished 17. We got to 18 with 3 groups on the hole. There was already 2 groups that passed us to quit and with wait of 15 min to tee off we left too.
Great course but large ricks in the bunkers?!?
If they had white sand bunkers would be a 5 star course. In excellent shape but my only complaint is many large rocks in the bunkers!! I don’t even see this at a par 3 course with $15 dollar green fees. Also put some water jugs out there too
Always a great course.
The course is challenging but fair. I always enjoy playing this course, I have to think about how I am going to play it. I am looking forward to next round at Foxford!!
Great rayout
It was hard to play because of the wind, but the course was so beautiful that I made a pleasant round.
The course was well managed and the water hazard and sandbunkers located in the right place helped make the rounds more tense and enjoyable.
Glad we played!
Great course, well worth the money. Would recommend to anyone on the fence playing here.
Great layout
First time play;ping the course. The fairways and the greens were fair, and challenging. All were in great condition.
Fix your pitch marks people
Great layout but suffers like so many other courses in our area from inconsiderate patrons. Fix your ball marks people as a reward to a good shot. It's really not that difficult and keeps the greens playable.
Great course, Great Staff
Course layout is fun and challenging. Course condition, overall was good. I didn’t like the greens as they had a ton of divots that were not fixed. The rest of the course, clubhouse and staff were great!
Second Review
Follow up to a review from last year. As stated in last review, this course has gone backwards in last few years. On top of it the general manager told pro not to let me plat because I left a bad review. Instead of taking all reviews into consideration, they just ban people. The cart restrictions were a little better when playing this year which is interesting for spring compared to fall when conditions aren't wet at all, but the inconsistency of this place is there only consistency. The other complaint was a 6 hour round, at our designated tee time, we were backed up 8 carts, (2) groups one which was a five some they were letting off on a sunday morning. The pro was confused when discussing my complaints as if nothing could be improved at his course. Sad, used to be an awesome place.

Always a treat to play in March. Never a treat to wait that long between shots.
Avoid playing Foxford
This course used to be nice. Now they charge way more than they should and their golf pros don't value their customers. I would rather play and pay Chalet Hills which is just down the street. Better value and better staff at Chalet Hills.

Erik, thank you for your reviews! As we take all reviews seriously, we do have some points we would like to cover. First you played on November 22 and complained about the conditions of the golf course. I’m not sure about your property, but grass hasn’t been growing since mid-October here. If you are looking for US Open conditions at the end of November, I probably wouldn’t be playing golf in the Chicagoland. You also stated you will not be playing here again, yet 3 months later, here you are. In terms of the golf course GPS system. Yes we have restrictions where you can and can’t go on the golf course. These restricted areas include: Tee boxes, 30 Yards from Greens, severely sloped hills and fescue areas. After, reviewing your round via the GPS, it was quite obvious you did not follow those guidelines. We have those in place to keep those grasses in good condition and for safety purposes. These are all pretty common golf etiquette areas for every golf course in the world! For your second review and your 6 hour round. You teed off on a 70 degree March 3rd day that everyone on the planet wanted to play golf. Every golf course was sold out. You teed off at 10:23 and finished at 3:12. Yes it was a little bit slower than our 4:30 hour pace and we will acknowledge that, but probably 80% of the golfers were playing their first round of the year that day. We don’t expect everyone to be in prime mid-season form. The fivesome was allowed because, yes we do allow fivesome for players who can keep up and they were always right behind the group in front of them. So, yes we consider all reviews and look to improve, this just looks like someone who interviewed for our assistant job and didn’t get it and has been bitter ever since. Obviously Foxford Hills isn’t the golf course for you and your expectations, although you said that before and were right back here playing. We wish you the best of luck in your golfing experiences.
