Great Course for the Money
This is the second time playing here and I have enjoyed it both times. Challenging layout. Pretty good condition. Somewhat slow...took our 4some about 4:20, which is slow to me.

I have always enjoyed playing Foxford Hills….it is one of my favorite courses to play. This round has me rethinking my feelings about the course. We played the first nine in just over two hours and after nine proceeded to the tenth tee. When arriving we encounter 10 carts at the tenth tee… the two carts from the foursome ion front of us and 8 strange carts. It seems they have league play that starts at 4 pm . The group that has been been in front of us tees off after we are sitting there for ten minutes and we tee off after another 10 minutes. … we haven’t waited more then 2 or 3 minutes the whole front nine…. To make a long story short the back yo well over 3 hours as it seems the league players had a few foursomes decide to jump out in front of the days customers. I can say that with confidence as they had Thursday Night League closest to the pin markers out in the par threes and both had more than one name on them as we played them. it is wrong th allow league players to jump on the course before their scheduled time and ruin the golfing experience of the daily customer. There was no ranger on the course the whole day and it is inexcusable…. Especially when they have a cart tracking system behind the front counter and could easily see. The back up the league players created. ….the reason being that they want to play more than the nine holes their league is scheduled for. It was a very disappointing experience!!

Really fun and beautiful course
First time ever coming here, I’ve gone to many courses around the lake county area and by far this course takes the cake, right off the bat the staff was super friendly and polite. The snack/drink cart would drive around frequently, considering you’re playing a rather big course, whereas other courses they either don’t have a drink cart due to staff shortage, which is understandable, or the drink cart takes a while to come back around. Now the course itself in my opinion was the most well kept and beautiful looking course compared to others. Greens weren’t that challenging but weren’t easy, driving around was a bit of a struggle cuz if you get semi close to the green boundary, being that the cart is electric, it’ll stop and you have to reverse from there despite not being THAT close. Overall an awesome, fun course to play at and most likely will go back there again 👍🏼

Great course, bad pace
It’s a shame they’ve started stacking tee times less than 10 minutes apart. This is one of my favorite courses and now it’s a guaranteed 5 hour round on weekend mornings. RIP

Slow Play
Left after 12 th hole and with 2 foursomes waiting and we were at 3 hours and 15 minutes ! Round would have been 5 hours min.
No ranger pushing anyone !

Pace extremely slow
This was my 2nd time playing this course and the 1st time was perfect, the 2nd time was not as enjoyable. The course conditions were beautiful and it's a great course but we were 5 hours into the round and decided to quit after 15. There wasn't a single ranger in sight to speed things up. Again the course itself is awesome but 5 hours thru 15 is unacceptable.
