Heritage Hills
Awesome course, but very expensive. Excellent pace of play, no delays from front and was not getting pushed from behind. Extremely scenic and well kept.
Great course
Play this course. I will again given the chance. Will be back next year
Fantastic course!
I am generally not one to write reviews, but I felt I had to share my experience. First, I was able to land a Hot Deal tee time for less than half if the normal price and it was some of the best money I've spent for golf, thanks Golf Now!! I am glad I saved my emailed receipt, because originally the staff attempted to charge me again after paying in full on the mobile app, but the young man was great once I showed him my receipt. Now, the course, it was fabulous!!!! The fairways, tee box, and even the rough, all terrific. The greens were a little chewed up in spots, but it is late in the year. They were still overall in good shape. Bottom line, the average Joe can truly get a feel of just how nice conditions are for the pros. If you haven't played Heritage Hills, you are honestly missing out on a jewel of a course. I HIGHLY recommend this course, especially through Golf Now!
Beautiful Course
I pulled up, took my bag out of my car, and up came an attendant with my golf cart. He loaded my clubs on the cart and wished me a good round. If that isn't a great first impression I do't know what is!!!
The club house isn't anything fancy but I don't care, I'm there for the golf. The golf course is in very good condition. My only complaint are all the ball marks on the greens. The greens are not very firm and therefore they putt very slowly. I'm assuming that since they are so soft, that's what's causing all the ball marks. But that's just an uneducated guess. Of course there are the usual assortment of unrepaired ball marks which doesn't help. The fairways are very wide and inviting. Elevated greens and deep bunkers make for an excellent challenge. Keep in mind I play mainly municipal golf courses so this was a nice change. Some very nice elevated tee's, especially #18 which is "way" up there.
I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely came back!!!
The staff is first rate!!!
Well kept course
A little pricey but very well maintained. Fairways and greens are excellent.
Best Course I've Played in Kentucky Yet!!
I've played quite a few courses through Golf Now and had not felt the urge to write a review about a course until today. I've played quite a few courses up here in the Louisville to Bardstown area since moving up from Florida a couple years ago, and after playing a round today at Heritage Hill. Even with a light drizzle of rain on & off throughout the first 12 holes or so, the course was AMAZING & in by far the best shape from Tee to Green that I've seen thus far of any course I've played here. The course's drainage system is setup perfectly, with no spots on standing water that I saw on any fairway through all 18 even with a day of rain. The fairways were pristine, soft & manicured. The sand in the bunkers, even while wet, were playable for the most part and weren't too hard or clumpy. The greens had some noticeable divot marks but rolled nicely & offered some tricky little breaks that make you need to focus & read them well. Not too fast though so you can be aggressive with longer putts.
Probably the best part besides the condition of the course were the views. A few steeply downhill holes (Par 3's, Par 4's & 5's) that gave peaceful & scenic picture worthy shots. Especially the Par 3 #11 over water (video attached), with a couple stone walls & surrounded by big trees.
All in all, definitely would be worth the usual $60 per round price tag, but I hit the jackpot with a "Hot Deal" for $17.99 at 1 pm. Will DEFINITELY be playing here again, especially if I can find another deal like that!
Dusiey
The best course in the Louisville area. Simply groomed to perfection from tee to green.
Great Course, Little Pricey, Slow, Slow Greens
Tee boxes and fairways are great. I really like the course and the layout. You hit all your clubs in the round. Would expect better greens. Greens are just really, really slow and very bumpy. Staff is great!
Pristine quality
This was my first time playing this course and it will not be my last. I've played several courses in kentucky this summer. Herritage Hills is by far the best kept course in the area. Great time I would recommend this course to everyone.
this course was plush
one of the best venues around. I would highly recommend this course to any one who loves a well-kept challenging golf course.
You are going to love this course.
I have played golf every place I have gone in my travels over the last few years. This course ranks in my top three easily. The layout was simply amazing, the staff was kind and courteous. believe me when I say," you are going to loves this course."
Best course around
Just played Valhalla 3 weeks before PGA championship and heritage hills was in better condition. Greens weren't on the same level but by far the best for a public course. Few more ball marks then I like to see but other then that no complaints.
nice course
A little pricy , but fun and well keep, i will play again when i can afford it. its really clean and has hot girls working there. Great views
Good course
We enjoyed our day here. Maybe a little pricey though compared to other courses we played in the area.
Always a fantastic experience!
This is a spectacular layout! Favorite course in the area! 7 elevated tee shots and 18 is especially memorable!! The layout is well thought out with many risk rewards. Always in excellent conditions and very worth the drive just South of Louisville.
Heritage Hill
Female and male golfers... HH is great fun!
Great course for immediate to advanced golfer...
Has it all...changes in elevation, water, sand ☺
Great Couse
A great day of golf, tricky but fun. A great variety of holes. Fairways are perfect!
A real jewel
One of the best public courses around these parts.
Must play
I have played this course every year since they opened and have enjoied this course year after year .. Play this course you won't be disappointed
I love Heritage Hill!
Everything about our round was super! It was a gorgeous mild summer afternoon that brought out lots of golfers, but even as a two-some we played the front in an hour and 40 minutes. The back slowed down (2 hrs. 20 min) because for some reason there was a five-some in front of us, but even that wasn't too bad.
The staff was extremely friendly, the course was in great shape, It's such a pretty course and definitely worth the drive from east Louisville! I will be back soon!!
