White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park

I play 1x a week so not too often, but often enough to say that this course isn’t worth the normal price you’d have to pay to play. Thought conditions were avg, nothing special, for the price they charge I was expecting the fairways to be plush

My wife and I played on a Tues. in April.

I have found that playing on weekdays is generally less busy, this was no exception.

The staff was great. From checkin to returning the clubs to the parking area.

We did not use any amenities. But that said the facility looked great.

We met the starter near the first T. Quite a friendly fellow who described the course to us.

Then he sent us on our way.

We found that from tee to green the course was in great shape.

We also found from green to T a nice ride on paved cart paths, through the trees and over the creek on the MANY bridges.

As to the course, I LIKED IT. It was a course that needed some “grip and rip” and some “finesse”. The greens were “relatively” flat and rolled true.

Course was in great shape and the carts have GPS in them. The practice facility is also fantastic. Range balls are included with your tee time. As someone who lives an hour away from here it’s definitely worth the drive.

White tees are a little short, for most golfers the mixed tee they have on the scorecard that plays almost 6300 is probably the way to go.

I play this course quite regularly as it is always in decent shape as they usually have cart path only (at least for spring golf). This saves the condition of the fairways and first cut. Very challenging course layout for a 15+ handicap as you do need to place your shots on many holes. The creek has to be carried on several holes and many bunkers challenge the normal landing areas for your drives. Greens are a little hard this year, but in decent shape with a true and honest roll. They do their best to keep the pace and it usually is a four hour round. I wont play anywhere that allows 5+ hour rounds, it is just to painful to wait for so long at every shot. Recommended if you want a nice challenging layout, decent fairway conditiions, and a nice driving range and practice facility (unlimited range balls all included in the round price)..

Very nice facility, beautiful clubhouse. Nice practice facilities, hitting off mats was little disappointing. However......... definitely one of the quirkiest golf courses I’ve seen. Way too many forced carries off tees, too many hidden hazards, green speed inconsistent, definitely easy to lose ball just off the fairway. Lots of long drives from hole to hole. Course does not flow well, too gimmicky for me, sorry.

The driving range need the distance mark for the flags.

WCC is a very pretty but very challenging course. It has lots of difficult water hazards and a couple of marsh areas crossing the fairways. It makes you think twice about a lot of shots. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful course with a difficult layout. Really enjoyed the difficulty of the course and every one of the staff members we encountered was super nice and very friendly. Starter gave us good advice playing the course and was super knowledgeable. Would 10/10 recommend and definitely will come back.

Tried out this course as a midway point for my brother in NJ. Was a challenging course, but a lot of fun. The people and service was 5 star. Layout of the course is tough and great distances between holes. Will definitely return, but really easy to lose your ball, not only in the creek that snakes around seemingly every single hole! But also just off the fairway where they have significant growth that makes tracking and locating a missed fairway virtually impossible.

Will definitely play here again and recommend this place as a challenging course that will test the average golfer.

Course was in great condition.. some of the nicest fairways around (I’ve played just about every public course in the area this past month).

Pace of play always an issue as the course is spread out... and a lot of time driving to boxes... the ranger made sure we weren’t pushing the 2 some in front of us (even though we were a 4 some) ... so we slowed down just to have the group behind us push us.... nevertheless was a great day.. course was in great shape..

Very fun course. On the short side if you play the white tees but still allows you to use all the clubs in the bag. Course always well maintained and staff always friendly and helpful. Would play here more often if I didn’t live 90 minutes away.

White clay creek is a great course with some nice facilities. Friendly staff and the ranger on course helped me navigate to a group ahead when the people I was supposed to play with didn’t come through.

Really the only complaint was the greens had been punched but they were nearly healed.

I would go back!
