About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Excellent course
My first time playing here and can't wait to go back. Courses is in very nice condition. Not a long course but it has an interesting layout. They also have fantastic warm up facilities nice proshop with very friendly staff.
Nice layout
This course has a beautiful layout and good conditions, the pace was a little slow at some spots but well worth the money.

Bizarre layout
This is the most bizarre layout out of any course I have played. Do not walk it unless you have an extra 15 minutes to walk to the next tee box. One was over 1,000 yards away per my GPS. if you go, call ahead to make sure it's not cart path only.. The path is far from where normal planned shots should land.. playing close to the path will add strokes to your score. Another bizarre thing is there is no return to the clubhouse until hole 18. They have beetcarts but none running. Soda machines on course we're not working. Overall it is a slow round and great for getting your steps in.

A lot of driving
I like Arthur Hills’ designs, but this course feels forced. The layout is terrible. Cart paths dead end, you drive forever between some holes. I can’t imagine being stuck behind a foursome. It took me 3 hours as a single to play cart path only and I was the first out, yikes. The conditions were good for being early season. I expected soggy fairways etc. Greens roll well and the elevation of each made for interesting approaches. I would say there were some really poorly designed holes on this course which is sad. Also, it’s a fairly flat course. The course is short except for the ridiculous carries on almost every hole. I’m not eager to play here again although I feel like the conditions were good. No fault of the staff or grounds crew, just an oddball course fit into a weird plot of land.
