About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

The course is very challenging and was in great condition. The only problem I had was the pro shop failed to inform us when making our tee time that two holes were under repair and had been changed to par 3's instead of a par 4 and 5 respectively. This was disappointing.

ALWAYS play here when you get the opportunity
One of the top 5 i can play in the area in my opinion. Cart path only is always tough here, but our twosome finished in 3hrs 40 minutes. I don’t know why there is sand on greens now, it was a little disappointing. Still a great January day to play and always worth it for a deal.

Really solid course....DONT try to walk it
Really solid layout with a lot of mixed challenges. Mostly elevated and narrow greens. Most fairways had plenty of room. Try to play with a local. It helped an awful lot knowing the site lines and yardages, Could have been long day because i would have hit shots that i shouldn't.
Staff was friendly and informative,. A cart girl in January....sweet....wine, beer and shots...perfect together. Would have tried the restaurant but wife was tired and getting tired for the 2 hour drive home. Like to get back in the warmer months. First course i ever played in Delaware in 40 years. Worth it,. Dont try to walk it.....in between tees and greens on some holes would probably add 4 miles to your 7 mile golf walk.Try it...you will enjoy it!

Great Challenging Course
This course is in great condition, even for this time of year. Topography offers multiple and diverse challenges for all handicap players. Course management is a must and pays dividends for all golfer skill levels. Many water crossings as well as some rather long carries keep you challenged. Think carefully about which tees you play, for it will dictate how positive an experience you will have. Staff are friendly and helpful. Food and beverage is well above average.

I love this course!
Always a good time. The course is extremely challenging. Bring extra balls, you will need time.
The staff is always great and go out of their way to make your visit enjoyable. Food is class A.

The conditions at White Clay were excellent for this time of the year. Minor particles on a few greens but that was due to the wind. Great course

Dificult
This is a beautiful well kept course but is too difficult for the average golfer. iOS normally score in the mid to upper 80s and could only manage a 93 on this course.

Slow play at White clay Creek
Had the 12.12 tee time yesterday and assumed we would be able to finish the round by sunset. The threesome ahead of us was no business hitting off the black tees and took too long on each hole, so we were 30-45 minutes behind the pace of play on the front nine. When we finally decided to skip 16 and go to 17 there was another slow foursome. One of my 3 playing partners just walked off the course, I skipped 17 and headed to 18 just to finish my round. Won't bite on any GolfNow Hot Deals at White Clay Creek the rest of this year.

Real golf!
I play here once a year because it’s a long way from my house. If I’m playing well at my usual courses, I add about 10 strokes when playing WCC. It’s a tough track! Always in good condition, every hole looks different which is nice but hard for sure. The staff is very professional and friendly.(not all courses are!)
