About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Beautiful course fairways are very nice. Greens were very fast and hard to hold. Definitely will be back to play. Side note don't ever think about walking this course
Nice course, good value
I had a good time at White Clay Creek, despite being on cart path only. It seemed to be necessary, but there wasn't that much rain the previous two days so maybe it doesn't drain that well, i don't know. The layout is interesting, but maybe over engineered and forced a bit. Not enough to be unpleasant, though.

Beautiful course~ at first very intimidating but from the ladies tees it was very manageable. Shorter than I expected. From the blacks, much more challenging~ Great conditions~ well kept~ some divots on the fairways~ they should remind ppl to replace their divots~ but overall amazing! Greens were fast and easier than I expected. Ladies tee boxes were pristine :)

Challenging course in great shape, great facilities, great staff
5pm tee time, was still able to just squeak in 18 holes from the black tees. Excellent practice green, short game area and driving range available and complimentary with the round. It had rained all day so the course played a little soft but was still in outstanding shape. The course played from the back tees forces challenging shots even for long hitters. The forward tees plays significantly different than the back tees. All around a fantastic course and the twilight rate offers a better value than any other public courses in the area.

Very humbling course but I love it
Keep it in the fairways and you can score well, but bring your A game because certain holes can gobble up your ball (eg, par 5 15th). Shot placement is a must here.

Gem
White Clay CC is a gem. Very challenging & well kept golf course. It is the best course, I have played this year. I am an avid golfer & I play once or twice a week so this is a Huge compliment. Important to pick the correct tees because there are many force carries & the course plays longer than the score card. Shot 74 because I birdie #9 & #18. Greens roll fast and true. You really have to have your thinking cap on for this course. Suggestions to even improve, there are no sandwiches & restaurant is closed Mon & Tues. Food should be available. With Covid 19, I would not recommend having the young attendants pick up bags & clean clubs. Right now, it is important to have less contact to keep everyone safe. Pre -Covid 19, bag pick up & cleaning clubs is a great touch. Rob, the starter & our cart girl were excellent. I will be coming back. It was worth the drive from Maryland :) Keep Up The Great Job.

Great course, great greens
This course is tough but greens and fairways are always in great shape for courses in this area.

Unfortunately Difficult
WCCCC is typically a well maintained course with great amenities. Grass practice range and chipping area use are included with your round or available as a separate rate if you just want to practice. Staff is friendly. Club transfer from parking area by staff and clubs cleaned after your round if you wish. The layout is challenging and tailored to shot makers because of the influence of water on nearly every hole. Excellent value for a late afternoon round, but higher pricing early typical of guest rates for area country clubs. Check it out if you are for a challenge.

Great track
I found this track a really good challenge; the layout was fantastic with good distances between holes, tough bends, streams to think about and fast greens. I'm an 11 handicap and it exposed a lot of my game. This would be a good home course for someone.

Great course
Played here with 8 of us today. The course is in pristine condition. Greens are true and challenging. Layout is a little weird and forces you to hit shots sometimes but overall a great day on the links. Free range session too!
