About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Nice course
Nice course...fast greens and pretty true. Few too many unrepaired ball marks! Layout is strange in that the holes are far away from each other...one of them is like a 0.5 miles! Also the 10th hole isn't near the clubhouse so no way to fuel up at the turn.
I'd play again!
Value for your buck
Unmatched conditions and practice facilities for a public course within 45 miles of philadelphia. This is a 80-100 dollar round but ive never paid more then 50 because of Golfnow. Play White Clay!

Beautiful Facilities Ruined by WEATHER
I arrived very early and got to enjoy the practice areas.The only ones that compare that I have played in the tristate area{NJ,Del,and PA were at Seaview Resort near Atlantic City. My playing partner as his usual showed up just before tee time. His loss!!!! WE both had driven for over an hour to reach WCC and only got to play 4 holes before the siren for bad weather shortened our day.We did get Rain Checks and plan to return ASAP to play the entire course.What we did play was in great condition.Unfortunately, we didn't get to try the dining or even the bar because of the weather.
So glad you got to check out our practice facility before your round but unfortunate you got rained out at the 4th hole. We will be delighted to have you back and we cant wait to hear your thoughts on our dining and bar areas!
Very challenging
Bring your A game!!! Holes are very challenging as is the distance. Greens could have been better. But over all course was very nice.
We hope to see you back and take on the challenge again!
Soggy
I love the course but it wasn't fun after a hard rain the night before and to find out it was cart path only. I understand why but it wasn't an enjoyable round because of it. I'm so stiff from walking all day I can't play golf for a few days. Every shot the ground would just explode. I love the course but yesterday wasn't a fun experience.
We are sorry to hear the weather conditions were not in your favor for htis round but we would love to have you back when the weather permits!
Great course
It was my first time playing at WCC, I had a great experience, course conditions were perfect, a lot of challenging holes that had force carry, beautiful scenery , really friendly staff, really good practice facility that's included in the green fees. I'd definitely Be playing here again soon.

Challenging course
White Clay is a challenging course in Delaware. However, we keep coming back to enjoy the ride through the scenic trails, the immaculate course condition, the beautiful views and lastly, to face the challenges of the course again and again.

I definitely recommend White Clay Creek. I played the course from the Black Tees for the first time. It definitely plays longer from those Tees, but I really enjoyed my experience. Only lost 2 balls. Greens were quick, but not too quick.

Solid Course, A lot of dog legs and hazards
White Clay was fun, very challenging though, as the creek goes through the entire course so unless you're a very good player, it's recommended you lay up and take the additional stroke rather than lose your ball.

Bring your Golf Brain
White Clay is in terrific shape right now. The greens are fast and smooth, and they're holding good shots. The course layout is interesting and mostly fair. (I've played the course 15-20 times and still haven't figured out a few holes.) The creeks and ponds run along many holes and eats errant shots. The par 3s are hard... just plain hard. Pace of play midday on a Sunday was 4 hours 10 minutes. WCC is a Top 5 course in the area.

Great course
Just an FYI. Target golf. I had to leave driver in the bag on a lot of holes. We also played from the black tees to maybe help with being able to pull drive but it didn't. Other then that's its a beautiful course. Greens break a lot more then they look and have a true roll
