About
White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park is a challenging but playable layout that is well known amongst locals. At just over 7,000 yards, the golf course offers a fair amount of challenges. Water hazards come into play on most holes, demanding several difficult forced carries. There are also some spots on the course that can be quite narrow. The terrain is mostly flat but the layout provides enough diversity to appeal to both low and high handicappers. White Clay Creek has a strong reputation not only for the golf course but also for its various amenities, which give it the feel of a private club. Staff assists you with getting your clubs to and from your car and use of the driving range and chipping green are included in the reasonable fee.

Nay to White Clay
Actually, this was my second time playing White Clay Creek. (Both rounds were less than wonderful - I lost 9 balls this time, and 12 or 13 the first time.)
Several quirky holes, several 210-ish yard par-3s, several tee shots requiring substantial carries, several doglegs not allowing full view of the hole from the tee. Definitely not my favorite kind of layout.
Although many greens did not LOOK good (some scruffiness, discoloration, ball marks), they generally rolled well and were quite fast.
For my $29 fee it was a decent value. But at 50 minutes from home, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
Almost perfect
This is a resort style course. Everything was great, except for the lack of rangers. Waited on every tee on back nine.

If you miss the fairway, you are more than likely in a hazard. Very little rough.

online price good . course very good. I'm a high handicap golfer , but still enjoyed the challenge. This course will make you think. Put your ego on the shelf lay up when you have to and your score will improve. Liked it!

Great but DIfficult Course
This course is beautiful and one of the best in Delaware in my opinion. Unfortunately I went out on a rainy day which made play even more difficult and less enjoyable. However the course was still in reasonably good condition and everyone was friendly. This course is a great course however not suited for beginners. Very difficult course.

The course was very fun. Front 9 had very generous fairways. The back 9 got very tight. the par 3's very challanging

Great value and condition
Every hole is unique and separated from the other holes. Great value for the level of course. Condition of the course was exceptional.

Hardest course I've ever played! But they have a nice practice facility & nice layout. Lot of lost balls.

Beautiful course and great practice area
Overall this course is in great shape. However the pace of play the day I went was horrible. We started out wide open then in 4 holes it was a log jam.
Excellent Couse
This is a quality course. I got to play it alone as first person out and it was very enjoyable. This is a quality layout, the surroundings are not breathtaking but the course is excellent. There is a good mixture o short/long holes with some strategic par 4s. Green conditions were good, bunkers were excellent.
This courses will not beat you up but challenging.

A Hidden Beauty!
I was not sure what to expect from White Clay Creek CC with it being a newer course and built around a race track. Man was I surprised! An absolute gorgeous layout in the Delaware State Park. If you like hazards and shots you have to control (both distance and accuracy) off of the tee, this is the course for you. For first timers the course would be impossible to play without the GPS, which gives you exact layup and carry yardage to each hazard. The greens were just aerated, but they still rolled pretty true. This would be an extremely tough course for beginners, and intermediates should probably play from the middle tees. I got a great deal on golf now and will continue to go back. The free range balls were a nice perk as well. If you hit it well you can score, as I was ecstatic with a 73, but if you're a bit off, beware!
Great layout, poor greens
Very impressive layout and challenging blind shots. The greens were in rough shape and no consistency from one to next. Paid $50 through the golf app and was worth the price.

Must Play
Course was in beautiful shape, played the black tees and was tough. Club selection is key to score well. Would go back anytime, awesome time.

Beautiful course, fair price
Played from the blacks (gold is longest, then black) and even though it is "only" about 6400 yards, there are a number of long (180-200 yards) carries to reach the fairway and be warned: not reaching doesn't mean your ball is in the rough, it means your ball is GONE. For older golfers or anyone who can't consistently hit their driver 220 or more, play the whites (5800 yards). Also, long par 3's (190-210 except for the 17th).
Fast greens, lots of ball marks (what a shame - the reason for 4*s instead of 5*s for condition). Overall, very nice, well worth the price, would play there again.
