White Clay Creek Country Club at Delaware Park

The condition of the course was outstanding, the crew and staff were extremely friendly and helpful..I love playing a course that makes you use every club in the bag..Our group stayed for lunch and had a great meal to top it off..

Only reason I didn't give it 5 stars, no club house at the turn or anywhere on the course to get food/beer/water! Other than that perfect course.

This course is a true rose. Natural beauty but sharp talons. Without GPS in the carts you could go through a dozen balls. Lots of forced layups and waist areas lurking everywhere. If your game is sharp you could see scarlet boxes on the scorecard but if you can't keep it straight you might need a bandage, and a drink. Only thing keeping from a 5 star is the lack of food or drinks on the course.

Great course but must be able to play target golf. A lot of layups for shorter hitters.

Played course on morning with a frost delay with a 10;50 tee time and even though the first group of the day went off at 10:15 the staff did a good job of getting the golfers out on the course and we teed off only about 15 min. late. There was a little waiting on the first four holes but moved very well after that. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Nice driving range and practice area which is included in price. Course is challenging with a nice mix of holes. The par 5's are well designed and memorable. Will definitely be back again.

Very challenging course. Show up early to take advantage of the Great practice area, Staff is very accommodating , they make sure that they attend to any issues

Good test of your game. It was cool and breeze that day, it added allot to the challenge.

The course was in good shape, you could see how some of the holes had been aerated maybe a month ago. I was impressed with the staff friendliness. I always shoot a higher score when I play here, but I enjoy the challenge.

My first time at White Clay. I will be back. Staff was very friendly. Course was in great shape. Very fast greens. Only problem was the pace of play was a little slow, 4:45 minutes. Overall a great value.

I'm normally in the low 90's hitting from the whites but White Clay sent me over 3 digits. Only played once before and forgot how to manage a few holes....some requiring carry while others layup. Course conditions were favorable but wind was occasionally a factor. Greens rolled fast , true , and were in great shape. All of the par 3's play 170 / 180+ except one. No significant elevation changes or wow factor but overall a very interesting course to manage. Unless you're a LOW handicapper better bring your A game. Arrive early to take advantage of a nice practice area....Get a golfnow deal and you won't feel too bad if you score high.

I've probably golfed about 1,000 rounds in my life, and never heard of this before, lesson learned. I hear people complain about aeration, but it is really on you to ask the course if you're playing in the early spring or late summer if they are. I knew from calling the course, they had aerated in August, so imagine my shock when they did them again in October!! Never saw that, but fortunately not much top dressing was used and greens rolled about 90% of their normal speed. This is a great course, but if you are not breaking 100 consistently at most courses, either avoid this place or play from forward tees because there a ton of carry holes with your drive. Also, impossible for the walkers. Some holes are literally several football fields away from each other.

Great practice facility included. Very friendly staff. Tough course, bring a lot of balls.

Staff was very customer centric. Very accommodating from checking in, to the starter to taking my clubs to the car at the end of the round.

WCC is always in great shape. Greens roll very true. This course is very challenging and requires precise target shots. Some low lying wet areas do cause the ball to plug deep. Won't get much roll out here but the overall length of the course is friendly to the average golfer. I would undoubtedly recommend playing this course and consider it my favorite in the Wilmington area.

The course is in great shape. Ground crews are continuously working on course. Staff is very friendly and professional. Great value for the quality golf the provide. Practice facility comes with your green fees and is first class. Arrive early to practice before you play. (Driving range, chipping area and putting green). I highly recommend you play this course. Beautiful course; well maintained; very challenging, but sometimes it felt like the course was smarter than you. Despite playing the Black Tees (6400 yds), used hybrid off the tee more than the driver; too many layup shots and could never get a feel for the greens. Still, one of the few courses in the area that lives up to its price

Very challanging course with scenic views on almost every hole. Lots of water and many bunkers. Most enjoyable if you move up one tee box. Saved $25 using Golf Now Hot Deal.

Great CC level service. A little confusing when we got their as the guys had bags on the wrongs carts, etc.
The course: Bring plenty of balls. Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in great shape. This course requires course knowledge as there are several blind shots, dog legs, and lots and lots of water and "rough". Requires accurate shots and driver is not the best choice for several of the holes. The rough is unplayable and surrounds each hole. It is a tangled mess, so, take an unplayable and move on. Would love to play three or 4 times as this was my first and I would have changed my shot/club selection on many of the holes if I knew what lies ahead.

From the start you are treated as if it was a private club. Course in great condition, but you better bring your "A" game if you are playing from the back tees. Challenging course with great views. A must play.
