Heron Glen Golf Course

Love this course. Great condition pace of play is always good.

Staff were friendly & helpful even though I arrived 4 minutes before tee time. Starter was great. Set me up with two regulars who guided me around. Definitely come back. Layout was great for a county course.

This course is always in good shape and usually a 4 hour round . Fun and challenging but not too tough to enjoy .

First time playing course and will be the last. At check in wasn’t told about outing going on and had to start on 10 not 1. Also wasn’t informed where to pick up carts. Though annoying, not the main reason I will not return. I will not return because I only played 9 holes, paid for 18, because of pace of play. Had to wait 10-15 to tee off and before every shot. The icing on the cake, the person working the pro shop was extremely rude to everyone they come in contact with. Yell at someone not to hit a ball because they weren’t answering them. Horrible experience will never return.

The only thing that is really lacking is the practice range. Not a fan of the hitting surface. And there are a lot of bad balls in the bucket

I’ve been playing here 6 years now 7 or 8 times a year and it never disappoints. Always in great condition and now they have GPS as well. I’ve played every great public course in NJ and few can hang with Heron Glen.

Course is in great shape. Played the blue/white tees and liked the format. Greens were in great shape and rolling true.
