Heron Glen Golf Course

This golf course never fails to deliver . Very fun to play . Back nine tightens up . A bit pricey but always a well maintained , higher end public track .

This is not the first time I played this course. However every time I come back, a whole set of new findings are found. The greens are fast fairways impeccable tea boxes very well manicured. I could play this course over and over and over again. Love playing it, and definitely will be back! Highly recommend to anybody.

When I first pulled up to the parking lot, I was somewhat nervous because there were no other cars there. When I went in to the clubhouse I asked if the course was open and they said yes just cart path only which I figured after the down pour we got the night before. When I checked in with the starter he told me that I could go out on my own or I could wait for more people. I went out as a single and had the entire course to myself. Absolutely great conditions considering all of the rain we had and I was done with my round in under 3 hours.

Booked tee time on golfnow and there was no indications from the course or the app that the greens were being aerated on April 11-12. To make matters worse they had the back 9 closed and cart path only. Wast of my time and money! Course is normally one of the best course in jersey so I hope they don’t let this happen again. The worst part is I called earlier that day to see if the course was playing normal with any restrictions and they failed to mention any of this.

Only nine holes open and they decide to let a high school kids tournament go out to hold everybody up. Walked off course, which seems to be losing some of its luster.
