Back nicer than front side
Pace of play on front nine was slow, had single in front of us and twosome behind us and the was kind of beat up.
Back pace picked way, probably some groups dropped out.
Pace of play
We were allowed to book a tee time despite there being a member tournament going on! It took almost 2 hours to play the first 3 holes!
Rediculous the # of 4/somes backed up!
No Marshall!
Who said it’s easy?
This was our first time playing the full 18 holes at Capri Isles. The pace of play was extremely slow on the front nine but the back 9 was a breeze as both groups ahead of us only played 9 holes. The front and the back are totally different. Warning!! Theee is water almost on every hole. If you tend to hit the ball a little right just being a dozen balls. Condition was acceptable. Looks like they didn’t overseed this year. The greens were outstanding. Staff was awesome. We will return.
Slow play
Play was extremely slow and there is no Marshall. We ended up skipping a hole to get ahead of a group that was awful and there was no one in front of them. They had no golf etiquette. Fairways were hard and dry. Tee boxes were just grass and weeds. We paid $50 pp because of a hot deal on golf now. Not even worth that.
windy day
The course was average. Staff was outstanding. Greens were very fast. Paid $50 but would not pay more.
following a 5 sum
Front nine we were 4 and followed a five sum.They had a hole open looking for lost balls the hole time. The back nine we had two players drop out. Two four sums drove around us passing the group in front of us. With a 2:21 tee time Finishing 18 before dark was in question the hole round WE did finish but it was dark.
A Busy Thursday at Capri!
This was the first time playing this course. I actually thought I had booked Calusa Lakes. When I arrived for a 2:20-tee time, the parking lot was jammed. Luckily, I had a tee time because there was a huge group going off right behind us. I did not know the other 3 golfers, but they were cordial and very friendly and we had a lot of fun. The golfer I rode with needed to leave after 9 for a dinner reservation. We 3 continued on to the back 9. My golf cart lost its charge on hole 11, but a call to the pro shop, after 5 pm, went unanswered. So, I grabbed the bag and off I went walking. I started hopping on the back of the other cart just to stay ahead of the 4 some behind us. A ranger did show up at hole 17 to see that I did have ride in. He told us that a bank of cart chargers failed, and they had a good number of dead golf carts in the afternoon.
So I fell into an adventure other than just golfing at a new course! There was no mention of a refund or comps for the trouble I had. Se la vi!

Staff is friendly and helpful. Course is challenging with lots of water in play. Large volume of rounds impacts course condition but it is generally in good repair.
Nice course,first time playing,some blind shots ,scorecard doesn't have course layout would help,will play again
