Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club

About
Originally opened as the Eagle Course at President Country Club and Banyan Cay Resort & Golf, Dutchman’s Pipe Golf Club was renovated by Nicklaus design in 2017. The fairways are lined with coquina and pampas grass and there are also water hazards and sand bunkers coming into play throughout. The layout offers interesting par 3s that offer particularly nice scenery and a mix of par 4s that range from having ample room to being very tight and requiring more careful course management. The golf course opens with a risk-reward opportunity, a dogleg-right par 5 with a strategically placed lake.

Course drains well , after rain
Its handling this wet summer well
I like that they have water with ice stations out on the course
Tricky greens , lots of slopes
excellent facilitie; excellent condition
would play again anytime. course and course personnel are excellent.
A great time at the Presidential
Great layout, very friendly staff. Challenging greens. Looking forward to playing here again.
President CC Eagle
Course was a little rough and poorly kept in some areas. Overall, the course was enjoyable. The staff and facility were not as enjoyable. Did not see a beverage cart come by from # 6 until #17. This was problematic for a hot day. Food and staff in grill were below average. Very large cockroaches in the clubhouse were disgusting.
Would give the course a higher rating except for staff, food, & roaches.
To many nice courses to pick from.to play this one. Only played front 9 back 9 was closed & not stated when Booking tee time
Everything looked great till u get not the course Golf course is just plain BLAH!!!!!& poor condition with NO work in progress
challenging Layout
This was my second time playing this course, and enjoyed both rounds. The course has some challenging features which make you think about club selection. It is not a bomb it and go course. Will play again in the future.
Decent track
Nice staff. Played quickly. Water stops every three holes. Good GPS on carts with electronic scorecards. No cart restrictions except on par 3s. Condition was fair but some greens were being aerated due to weather damage. Nice selection of tee boxes for different player levels. Had option of getting electronic scorecard emailed at end of round, but so far, no scorecard. Lots of driver holes and water hazards but very fair. Nothing hidden or tricked up.
This was one of the best courses
This course very demending. You have place ball just right to score well on this course.
A Must-play in The Palm Beaches
This is one of the most enjoyable and challenging courses available for public play in Palm Beach county. RTJJ's mix of hole designs means every club in the bag gets used and make sure you pick the right tees.
Hot and slow
Very hot and very slow. This is a nice course. I am a new player and still learning the proper etiquette. We had two slow groups in front of us and the group behind us driving balls into us. The ranger did try and keep play going, but once we got choked up it pretty much stayed slow.
will play again
First time since 2011. Sent on back 9 first, but played steadily. Many challenging greens with slopes, etc. Was fun, and will play again soon.
Nice course
The course has a nice layout. The course could have been kept in better shape but was very playable. Really like the undulations on the green.
A nice treat!
A well-manicured course with several sets of tee boxes to best suit your challenge. A couple of nice risk/reward par 5s make for entertainment. Greens rolled slowly, but more importantly, TRULY. I had a great putting day and was pouring them in from everywhere. It monsooned in the middle of the 16th hole, causing us to leave before we saw 17/18. I would definitely go back for the value.
Fun, challenging course
Very fun course to play…Greens are slow and can be very challenging, especially on some of the back 9 Par 3's, steep hills but great to play nonetheless. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will definitely be heading back there again soon.
Eagles is good
Hi, I have often played Patriot, which was the sister course, but now demolished and under construction for houses. Eagle has always been the better course and I think now when there isonly one course to maintain, it will be even better. It is pretty interesting course and good location. Everything is petty easy and fluid.
fathers day
Course is great value for the money. Its in better shape that was a couple months agohowever not nearly as good 3 years ago.
Good course but unfriendly staff
The overall course condition is OK which is about 3 to 3.5 star. The fairs and tee boxes are not that good. The greens are in good conditions with a lot of undulations. You need to know where to hit on the green; otherwise, the ball will roll away and away from the hole.
The course is challenge with enough turns and hazards to make you plan & think before hitting. The major complaint is the staff. I came early and ask to start early since the course is not busy at all. The starter and the pro shop staff just don't let me go and ask me to wait until my tee time is up. I can understand it if the course is full of players but it was nearly empty. I would not come back to play it again. There are many other good courses nearby with friendly staff.
Great value
Wow, simply "exceeded expectations". 3:05 hrs for an 18 hole round? Haven't had that since '72 on my home course in central Illinois... On a week day!
nice track
lots of water and ob but if you hit it straight you'll score
Enjoyable and diversified course
The fairways were relatively fast but some of the greens still have to complete growing in.Worthwhile golfing experience at green tees.
