Nice day at Continental
Played on a Sunday - a little slow but it was a great day overall. Got paired with a nice couple from England and played very well. Course is very tight with large oaks trees. Greens a little slow as overseed is still coming in - course looks pretty good. Only paid $5 - best golf deal this year when all was considered. Will go back again and again.
This course has some nice holes that require course maintenance shots. Lots of tree lined fairways, doglegs, some water holes, and nice greens.
I would play this again. Although it wound through some power lines, and streets in the country club homes, it kept it interesting with the style of holes played. It has something for everyone.
Deceptively difficult
Played whites at 6000 yds. Since there are many strategically placed large oak trees, shot placement is paramount.
Demanding par 4 holes and interesting par 3's - A driver is not always the club on some par 4's.
More to this course than hitting good shotd - they have to be hit to the right spot.
Fun and Slightly difficult.
Course is in good shape, greens are good. Practice green, which is fairly new. not in the greatest shape.
Enjoyed Round
Was very pleased with the course and the ease of playing time. Will play the course again.
some very tight fairways
The course has some very tight driving holes, like about half.
The course rough around the greens are very deep and unfair, but all in all the course was fun to play, the greens rolled true and were in good shape.
The lady bartender is not a very pleasant person.
I will play this course again.
Decent value
The course plays longer than it seems from the yardage, requires better than average player due to tree lined fairways. More than half the tee boxes require attention and only one hole a par 3 across a thru way and thru powerlines seemed out of place. I will be back to play, the course does provide a good challenge to your shot making abilities.
Work in progress
The tee boxes need some work, but we do get to tee it up so not a major factor. The fairways were sprayed green so for the most part look good. The rough is Bermuda, although not very high the ball sits down and is difficult to find. The greens had a lot of sandy patches, but rolled smooth. We enjoyed the day and for the price paid would go back.
Challenging
Narrow fairways make for challenging course, good condition. Only a few tee boxes in poor condition, fairways good, 17 put of 18 greens in excellent shape. Staff friendly, great deal on golfnow!
We enjoyed our day and will come back.
This is a challenging course with all the trees. Nice conditions. Cute modular home community.
Course needs work, especially the rough area,,either it is bare, or the grass, or weeds, what ever it is,,,cannot see a ball if it lands in the rough
The greens need water,,,lot of brown. Some of the tee boxes were not used,,but not signs where to go. The tees do not have 'GRASS",,but what looks like some sort of weeds. On par 3's if you don't use a tee,,,the ball sinks down.
Outstanding course
Played for 5 dollars using golf now. Was not expecting the course to be good for the money. It was in great shape. Very good overall. Will play again
Good Value
Fairways had a few bare spots, nothing major. Greens were in good shape and the greens rolled true, no bumps.
Be prepared to think!!
I always like playing CCC because you use every club in the bag. In fact, I don't pull driver until I hit the tee box on #9. The par 5 #7 was 3 Wood-3 Wood-Sand Wedge and a putt for birdie. The course is best known for it's narrow fairways. Get off the fairway and you have tree or palmetto problems big time. Plus there's enough water and sand to make you think which side of the box do I want to hit from, which side of the fairway or green to I want to hit to, and you better not miss. The course had a few suspect greens and quite a few of the tee boxes were obviously being worked on when I played, but it is off-season (June 3) so what better time to do it. But for $9 on golfnow.com there's no reason to complain. And after the round try one of the best hot dogs on the planet in their restaurant.
Course was not in the best of conditions
There were several tee boxes that were in rough shape. The greens were not the best but were okay.
course is in good condition except a few holes where fairways need some work
the staff put us as a 2 some strategically so we didnt have to wait too long to play while an member tournement took place--so we were able to play in under 4 hrs..excellent work to your staff
