About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

First day of spring!
First round of the year. Nk'Mip just opened and it was great to finally swing the clubs in 2019!

Very nicely laid out course it was a pleasure to play. I thought how do people actually design a course in this rough terrain. Well someone has and I am glad they had a vision. Bring your camera also the views are awesome. You may even get lucky enough to spot a few rattlesnakes like we saw. Don't go looking for stray balls.

Great Conditions at Nk'mip!
A great day on the course, as the weather and course conditions were excellent. As always, we were politely and promptly greeted at the Pro Shop. It is also great to receive free access to the driving range prior to the round.

Course in awesome shape. Found the greens very challenging. Had a great time! Highly Recommend this course.

I love this course ,it reminds me of courses in the Phoenix area. It is very difficult from the back and more forgiving from the front tees. A good variety of holes and the heat and wind sure play a factor!!
The greens had been punched and top dressed and that information was not available at booking time. I was surprised that the greens had browned off in the 2 weeks since I played there. I am wondering if they had an irrigation issue. All in all if it were in the Kelowna area I would buy a membership. Only drawback and it is standard in this area, now one has a driving range on grass,just matts!!@#$%^&*()
I can t understand why an area that raves about their courses has no decent practise facilities.
Beautiful course!
First time at this course and can’t wait to come back. Thankfully for us the course was not very busy so my wife and I played in under 4 hours. Greens were quick but fair, took a few holes to get used to the speed. The overall course conditions were excellent!
Outstanding day of golf!
Had my first hole in one on number 3! Witnessed by a groundskeeper that shared the news with the pro shop! Pic with Kiwi Dave and given an Nk'mip flag congratulating me on my hole in one!
This is a great course..! Complimentary driving range which is full service including a chipping area and challenging putting greens!
