About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Beautiful Course
Front nine is a definite desert course with
some great views. Back nine is part of
the old course, very lush.
Great conditions
Great conditions from tee box to greens the service was exceptional being the first time I have played this course I placed my tee shot in the wrong places only making me wanting to return to play this course over and over from deferent tee boxs

Great course to play. Freindly staff. Course was in great condition. Greens were fast and true.
Local Best Kept Secret
The course was in great shape for such a hot season. Surrounded by an amazing view! Dessert, mountains, and then the greenery of the course.
This is certainly a course where "straight" shots are your goal!
The high grasses are areas where you can easily loose a ball or 2 or 4.
Was really hot when we went, but we planned for it with 3 frozen water bottles with vitamin/energy tablets.
I'll be back!

Great Course!
We thoroughly enjoyed our round of golf at Nk'Mip Desert Canyon Golf course. We took our time and were not pushed by anyone behind us. We were a little disappointed to not be able to try the golf boards which were being serviced. All in all, a very pleasant experience and we would not hesitate to return.

Nk'mip good value
I've played this course several times in the past and always enjoyed it. This time was no different.
After hitting a heavy rain storm on our drive up from Osoyoos, we were a little concerned that it might affect our play, but no rain in Oliver!
The sky was partly cloudy, making for perfect conditions.
The course itself has a little bit of everything, some tight, technical holes and several wide-open, more forgiving holes. Always picturesque, this course is fun for players of all levels.
Plus, using the Golf Now app, we got a real skookum deal: $20/player, minus the cart. So $5 more per person and you're good to go!
Last word: it can be bloody hot there mid-day through the summer, so choose your day wisely! Look for some overcast to give you some relief from the elements.

I maybe got caught shotgunning a beer in the parking lot. Old man in a cart spotted me.
We really did have fun playing tho.

Nice Layout
Enjoyed my round here on Day 2 of a 3 day golf trip into the Osoyoos/Oliver area.
Conditions were great, staff and food were solid.
Pro shop staff were very helpful and friendly.
Will play here again!
Beautiful front nine
The front nine differentiates this course from others. It winds through the desert canyon and is spectacular. Interesting holes with challenging greens. The back nine in meadows and pretty straightforward.
