About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

My Favourite Okanagan Golf
I've played this course several times when I've been in BC to visit with my family and I would say it ranks as one of my favourite in the area. It helps that every time I've played, the weather has been perfect too!
Was hot course was empty played in just over 3hours. Had just air aided fairways so they weren't great.
Beautiful course
Probably one of the best maintained courses we’ve played at. Driving range free with green fees. Great chipping and putting green. Beautiful scenery!!
Wow!
We recently moved to this area and were looking for a great course at a reasonable price. W3 found it!
It was quite windy the first day we played which added an extra challenge. The course was in amazing shape for the time of year. The greens were generous and were in great shape as well. Reading greens is not my forte and I found them to be quite deceiving.

GREAT CONDITION
The course was in awesome condition, especially for April! Greens were fast and fairways were beautiful. Really enjoyed the day.

Course is in great shape. The weather was perfect and the pace of play was excellent.
Golfing at Nk'mip
I found the course in very good condition for the time of year it is. the only thing I found was the greens were very hard but putted very well.
Early season
For early season course was good. Greens had been punched so not great, but still very consistent.
Must play if in the Okanogan
This is a great course, always in excellent condition. Has very challenging greens which are always smooth and roll pure. Very unique design. A must play if you are in the area.
Nice find!
We were just passing through Oliver on the last day of a 6 week road-trip and discovered this lovely course. Beautiful elevated tees on some holes, hard enough but not intimidating, well-maintained. The staff were all welcoming and friendly. We had a great round and will return again to play this course.
