About
Nk'Mip Canyon Desert Golf Course (previously known as Cherry Grove Golf & Country Club) is so-named for its diverse landscape that begins on natural desert and smoothly transitions into lush canyons and valleys. In the centuries prior to the course's construction, the Okanagan people referred to the scenic landscape as Nk'Mip, which roughly translates to "flat bottom land at the mouth of the creek or river." Preserving the stunning natural features, including the abundant native flora and fauna, was one of the top priorities when the Osoyoos Indian Band developed the course into a championship layout in 2001. Despite tumbling across a variety of elevation changes, the golf course is easy to walk and provides stunning views of the South Okanagan Valley along the way. The course offers a fair challenge with water hazards and numerous strategically placed bunkers coming into play.

Great course...
NkMip golf course is a great course.. they are very accommodating. We got there and it was raining so we waited in the restaurant to see if the weather would change ... which it did! Had a great game... will go back again...

Rainy but wonderful day
Pro shop staff were so personable and funny. Restaurant staff not so much. They couldn't care less that I was there to buy 2 Gatorade. We had to quit after 9 because of the rain and again the pro shop, different guy, were exceptional and gave us rain checks.
The greens were fast and true and fairways like a carpet
This is a great golf course for beginners and low handicap
Great experence
Staff were wonderful, friendly and accommodating. Left my putter on practice green and staff found it and brought it out to me before I got to 1st green. First 12 holes are awesome. Last ones are more hoe hum. Greens very fast. Very fun to play. Course in excellent condition!

Awesome desert experience on this course..loved it.
Beautiful and senic ,love this course..quite challenging, take a cart if u don't like climbing up&down. Had a wonderful experience ,staff friendly and will definitely come back when we are in the Okanagan again.
Course in great condition..
Enjoyed round of golf, 90% of greens excellent condition and we considered fast! Would recommend..
Great condition, quite forgiving
As a once every two weeks golfer, I appreciate courses that are not too tight. This course didn't punish mis-directed drives too much. More of a links style feel to it for most holes. Large greens in very good conditions. Some water and some elevated tees. Look forward to playing again.

Great course
This was my first but not my last time at this course. This was a great course and very well maintained. The fairways were like carpet and the greens were fast and true. Can't wait to golf here again when I am in the area.
Desert Experience
This course is a desert-style course on many holes. I played from the whites, which provided a great range of tee shots. I used every club in my bag, but I didn't use my driver until the back 9 where it is more open.
The course was in great shape, the staff were very friendly, the pace was good. I would play it again next time I'm in the area.
this course makes you pay attention
WE had a very entertaining round and not disappointed.in speed of play or greens as they were very true and fast.

The conditions of the course were pristine, especially considering the drought in the area. We had a very enjoyable day and look forward to playing again.
Great course
Had a great time. Need a cart for sure. Pack extra balls though ... Great shots can still be lost in the grass and bush along the fairway.
