Great layout and a lot of fun to play. Challenging for experienced golfers but not so much that beginners can’t play it too. The scenery is fabulous and the course was in great condition. Next time I’m in town I’ll bring my clubs to play again. Absolutely love it.

We enjoyed the complete golf experience at Port Alberni Golf Club. Well maintained, scenic mountain views, wonderful greens, and excellent course layout.

Great course and I love the surroundings. Just don’t like the price for a power cart. Feels discriminatory against those of us with mobility issues. That will be a deal breaker for playing this course again.

Good course! Some fairway sections dead and dry already so not sure how they will be when it hits 38 degrees for 2 weeks! Green conditions were great! Fellow players often said bunkers had minimal sand in them so was like playing off concrete. Did not eat/drink there after golf this time but did so last year and food was good!

This course is always in great shape, never really wet even after rains and the scenery is fantastic!

This coarse rewards straight tee shots and punishes wayward ones. Greens are in the best shape they have ever been and fairways are mowed tight and well watered and green even with the hot weather. Sand traps could use some sand.

After 9 holes wanted to grab some food. They informed as then that the kitchen closed at 4:00... this was at 4:10. Then talked to us like idiots, as we were suppose to know this and did nothing to even offer any attempt at solution for a substitution. We will not be returning.

Love this course!! It’s challenging! Is very well maintained with great fairways and greens!!

make sure you are straight off the tee. Every green breaks, even when it looks straight.

Booked hot deal when weather was good. Got to course and it poured down rain , couldn’t rebook or cancel.

This is a course I’ve played one or twice in the past year, and I would certainly have recommended it up until this last round (or half round). I would have appreciated knowing about the recent application of weed treatment chemicles prior to traveling out from Parksville to play. I came across the warning sign at the 10th hole. No one in the pro shop bothered to inform me prior to play. I think this is inexcusable. To only be offered a 9 hole complimentary pass to return another day was a poor business call. This was due to booking through Golf Now - why were penalized? The round wasn’t cheap, but the staff said if we had booked through the pro shop they would have refunded us 18 holes. Anyhow, that’s my most recent experience.

Staff here are excellent. Very friendly and accommodating. Great course for a small town and feel lucky to have it. Well maintained, and great layout. Challenging and fun.

It had been at least 10 years since I played Alberni GC - we had trouble remembering how to find it The pro shop was friendly and set us up with a local member as a threesome. The course and weather were good - not so much with the scoring We had a quick bite afterwards - good homemade food. I would recommend this course to anyone.

Excellent course. Approaches to the greens where a little spongy but that was minor. This course is a good challenge and great to play.

The course was in excellent condition even after a week of rain prior.

The course offers some good challenges. Only complaint we had is that the next hole wasn't well signed, especially finding 14 after playing 13. Other places it seemed you have to cross the wrong hole before you get to the right one. Greens and fairways in great shape. Beautiful setting!
