It's been many, many years since I've played here and the course is vastly improved, complete with a much appreciated beverage cart. My golf partner elected using the back tees, which we rarely use, making the course much longer than I remember, giving alot of bang for the buck. We have already agreed to return because of the great deal that we have received on golfnow.com! I live within a 15 minute drive and use the driving range regularly because I like it. My wife had gotten a deal here years ago for beginners lessons for my two kids for which I am now very grateful.

Friendly staff. The pace can and should be better managed.

The course was in the best condition I have ever seen.
It was also good to see how culturally diverse the players have become from years past. It took us over 5 hours to play 18 holes, so we were able to enjoy the scenery at every hole and it gave us an opportunity to stretch and warm up while we waited. Although I enjoyed the course, I think I will stick to the courses outside the GTA. (Greater Toronto Area).

Cheap, that's about all I can give you. From the jammed tee times, to slow play, and uneven sand tee boxes, you really get what you pay for. I'd like to say it was at least a quick round, but that's definitely not the case. If you have to play here, try the afternoon when the Markham seniors are done.

Average public course, greens, traps differ from hole to hole. Some good, some not so much.....

now It's my biggest conquest to shoot under 90

This is probably the worst course i have ever played at in the GTA. Course conditions are not good at all and they jam it with players. There is no appreciation of time by the course and you will wait up to 30 min to play your hole. Facilities are a mess as well.

you need to join someone who knows this course, if not you're gonna lose a few balls. it has some challenging holes, lots of blind shots. nice day but very slow due to lots of golfers. so plan on waiting between holes and you will enjoy it more.

Has some tight narrow fairways, a few high elevated T offs, lots of trees and water or fescue obstructions. From the Blues I found it a challenge and extremely fun coarse. in all definitely one of the best courses for the money.

Friendly staff was conversant with their computer and got me registered. I picked up a small bucket of balls at the range and after warming up it was up to me to find a threesome who wanted to let me join. There was no starter.
The pace of play was surprisingly good for a Sunday monrning, it added up to just over 4-1/2 hours, The fairways we pretty good. The greens had been worked on either Friday or Saturday but had not been tended on this Sunday (late morning).
T boxes on 7, 11, 17 could do with some levelling and improving.
The track has seen some upgrading over the last few years. For the money it is good value.
Good course to practise course management on.

Until ownership decides to put money into overall course appearance and condition, it is not even worth a discount. Tee boxes were truly horrid, we got bumped by 45 minutes for 8 junior players (one took my ball on an ajoining hole!) and the greens and fairways were abysmal.

The course was in much better condition than in previous years but still hard to find a flat area on a few tees. Greens were slow but again much better maintained than previous years. I was expecting a long round based on past experience and we were paired with a retired couple but we played in 3 3/4 hours! our tee time was 8 am so maybe getting out early helped with pace of play.

Staff are friendly and greens are maintained well.

not the best course around but the price was right...greens are turtle back which makes them tough to hold....the condition has improved over the past couple years

The course is in OK shape. the bunkers were a bit muddy and hard.

Good value for your dollar but unfortunately the wait on each hole us crazy..sometimes there are 4 groups on one hole...wait time can be as long as 30 mins on holes 2..3..4 and 7. As well as 10 and 11...but its gets a little faster if you start later in yhe day...like twilight. Lol
Good luck on the greens.. they are cut like the fringe on ither courses. Too long or high..not taken care off very well. Maybe because you're allowed to play here in the winter too!!!

Great value for the money. I'm a half-decent golfer so this course challenges me. The pace was excellent. The Marshall was firm and friendly. It's also close to my home. Price, convenience, and enjoyment add up to good value.
