Some like it tough, and for them there is St. Andrew's. This immaculate course is as beautiful as it is challenging, with water coming into play on 14 holes, and wickedly undulating greens. Called "One of the five best public courses in Ontario" by Score magazine - and simply "Canada's toughest golf course by others - St. Andrew's prides itself on being a real player's course, designed and managed by avid golfers.

Course in great shape very enjoyable round from start to finish all you want in a course challenging and fun
Great Course Conditions and Amazing Staff
I’ve never written a review of any kind on the internet but my experiences with St. Andrew’s Valley golf club this season has to be recognized. All staff, from check in to food to starter and marshalls have been A++. And the course conditions have been superb. Like playing a $200 golf course for a third of the price. Will definitely be playing more often there.
Very enjoyable day all around!
I thought the course was very well run and managed. It was in excellent condition, all the staff were friendly and helpful, and the greens putted very consistently!
Best municipal golf course
We were a three some and paired with a friendly solo gent. After the front nine . The course was pretty much all to ourselves. Course condition is great especially the greens which were of about the right speed .
One of thee best deals on golfnow around Toronto
Played this course 6 times since Sept 2017. The layout is fabulous, long enough with the ability to score well from the tips if you hit fairways. Considering the amount of play it gets the fairway's/tee boxes are mint. The greens roll true probably at a 9-10. Every hole is different nothing feels "make shift" . Pricing after 3pm is a steal. Starter's are awesome and will let you go early if they can. Proshop girls are friendly and always smiling.
St. Andrew's Valley - Nice Course, Decent Price
Really nice track and great upkeep. Greens ran true and you could be aggressive with your approach shots. Nice range of tees to accommodate all different types of skills and it allowed me to use a nice mix of driver, 3W and irons off the tees.
Price was a little expensive for the round, but overall I would definitely recommend and I will definitely play it again.

The condition of the course was so nice! Greens were rolling fast, not an easy track, all par 5s were long and tough!
Friendliest Golf Course
This was the first time I played here and from the time I got out of my car in the parking lot, I was greeted by friendly staff and players. Everyone was so nice. The pro shop staff, the starter, marshall, and all the maintenance staff are absolutely fabulous. Not once did anyone pass by and not wave or say good morning or good afternoon. We played with a couple of members and they too were extremely friendly and very helpful providing guidance about the course. The food was great and the beer was cold. I look forward to playing here again.
Always enjoy St. Andrew’s Valley
I obtained a tee time as a single and joined a group of nice people to play with. The tee time was right on schedule and the staff was able to get me in the tee even though I showed up just in time. The round played at a perfect pace of 4:15. The course was in excellent shape; fast true greens, well maintained fairways and sand traps.
