Some like it tough, and for them there is St. Andrew's. This immaculate course is as beautiful as it is challenging, with water coming into play on 14 holes, and wickedly undulating greens. Called "One of the five best public courses in Ontario" by Score magazine - and simply "Canada's toughest golf course by others - St. Andrew's prides itself on being a real player's course, designed and managed by avid golfers.

Well kept even in mid November
Waited for the price drop so my rewards points would cover it. Drove an hour to get there but was told it would be worth and it was. Shot an 88 from the whites which was good for me.Surprisingly fairways and ruff were clear of leaves bravo! i’d definitely go back.
Great shape considering
A late October round I wasn’t expecting the course to play so well.
Greens were really smooth which made sinking the four birdies I had a little easier.
I’ll be back 100%
A Great Course
It is a great course at a great location. You can feel it as soon as you put your tee on the ground in the first tee box. The course was in a great condition despite of the fact that it rained hours ago before we started. Because of the evergreen trees, it is not bad to play even in fall.
I will definitely play here more often if I can get a good deal.
Great public golf course
As a public course, I found St. Andrews Valley in excellent shape from the spring throughout the fall. The staff at the check in are very friendly, and very knowledgeable about their job. The pace of play could be slightly better, but not bad considering it is a public course, Having taken a leave of absence from The Thornhill Club, my husband and I chose St. Andrews Valley as our golf course of choice for this past season.
Excellent course
extremely challenging course, great value at $50-$60 range
Cart path only even though the fairway and rough was fine no wet areas, only one hole on the back nine was a bit wet won't be back again, kept waiting for the ranger to give us the ok to driver to our balls, but we never got the ok.
One of my favourites
As expected the course was in great condition. Disappointed at the speed of the greens.
Tuff greens
First time playing this track, course was in great shape! Not an overly long course but the greens were pretty tricky.
Nice course, great conditions all around. Only real complaint is it was Mats only for warm up and chipping area has one small green with one flag, so more than golfer can't practice at once. On regular rates id say a touch high price wise.
Great Course - Great Staff
This was the 1st time I have ever played an upscale course in less than 4 hours. It was perfect. Regardless of the previous weeks rain the course was in exceptional condition. The greens are FAST.
The staff was friendly to a point of making you feel like a member of a private club.
Will definitely return
