About
Ballantrae Golf Course is an 18-hole championship course with a classic links layout reminiscent of those found in Scotland. The golf course has undulating greens, many of which are elevated, and the player-friendly fairways are quite generous. The layout is challenging with more than 50 acres of water hazards and treacherous greenside bunkers. The front nine gently eases you into the game, but the back nine is where the golf course truly shines, especially holes 11-14. Ballantrae Golf Course boasts interesting risk-and-reward opportunities combined with shots that will appeal to long hitters. There are also three tee decks for golfers to choose from.

Ballantrae wins my vote again
We played today in the hot weather but the course conditions were excellent. As always, the starter was very friendly and the course Marshalls attentive. I would very much love to come back and play again.

Lovely course
Fun to play, easy to walk. A great atmosphere here.
cart fee is too expensive, and the fairway condition is worse than one month ago
Ballantree is a Great Course!
First time playing the course (and blue tees!), I was pleasantly surprised by the good conditions of the course. I knew beforehand that all greens are inverted bowl-shaped and they are mighty hard to hold approaching shots. Good that there are many generous collection areas around the greens. All in all, a great golf course to play. Walking is bit too long before holes.
Will definitely do it again... soon!

What a great course. Easy walk, fun to play, somewhat easy but very enjoyable to play. Well done!
Power Carts OVERPRICED !!
I played with Roger who also put in his review and I have the same problem which explains why I have not played there for many years. I usually walk but due to extreme hot weather I chose to ride and WOW was I surprised with how much they charge for it. I played many courses and I have never heard of a SINGLE rider pay $30. I was told I was getting a BARGAIN because 2 people sharing a cart cost $40. I only chose this course because of the hot deal $48 + tax and when you add the $30 power cart it is NOT WORTH IT. I can play other similar courses for less. NOT COMING BACK
Immaculate conditions, but price gouging on electric carts
Course is in pristine condition, greens are running fast and true fairways are perfect. Too bad about the cart fees, choose to walk out of principle.
