Glen Eagle Golf Club - Red/Blue
About
Glen Eagle Golf Club, which is situated just northwest of Toronto, offers 27 holes of championship golf that are played in three different 18-hole combinations. The Red/Blue Course features undulating fairways and large, heavily contoured greens that move fast. The Red nine is the most difficult of the three nines at the club. It demands keen course management skills and accurate tee shots. It also requires a few long drives at 3, 521 yards form the tips. The Blue nine is challenging as well, but there are birdie opportunities on the 5th and 7th since their greens aren't elevated like all of the others.

Good Course
Great layout. Lots of variety on the course. Conditions around the green were not so good. Sow burnt patches on and around the greens.
Terrible course - Not worth the time
First staff is not friendly. The course was overbooked. It nearly took us 6 hours to play our round. Each hole we were back up by at least 2 groups. The condition of the course was poor. With so many choices in the GTA I will not go back again or recommend anyone else. I got a deal through golf now and regret going. I shouldn’t have gone to another course.
Lots of elevation changes
Played on a hot humid weekday afternoon; busier than I expected, but pace-of-play reasonable. Conditions close to perfect; some teeboxes dry and bare, but the fairways, rough, and greens were in very good condition. Lots of hills and valleys, very few water hazards. Walkable if you're in good shape! Carts have seen better days. Staff efficient and friendly. Highly recommended.
Not for your regular golfer
Even tho the course is nice, they over booked and the round took over 5 and a half hours. While waiting to play the fourth hole over 70 minutes into the round the cart girl came around with only water to sell, we asked her for some Gatorade and she said she would come back with it. She never did. After roasting under the sun for almost 3 hours we reached the half way house which was closed, the only option for a drink was a vending machine, which ate my friends money. It wasn’t until the 14th hole and 4 goes in the sun we’re we able to get water. Such a nice course should have such poor staff. So all in all if your looking to spend almost 6 hours to play to play a course that’s almost a hundred dollars without water this is your place. This place should be boycotted until the price reflects the service and pace of a regular golf round.
A great day with friends
This course has lots of par 5s. Excellent if you like to get out there and swing. Sand traps and ponds make it challenging. I've played this course in the fall damp weather. Not nice but last Sunday with the weather being so nice, I had a great time on this course. Overall excellent course to play.
Good golf but no reservation from golf now?
Good game but our reservation from golf now was not recorded. got out anyway so no harm but not sure why i paid golf now for nothing?
Tee boxes
Tee boxes were bad. Hard and beat up pretty bad. Grass not short enough
Will be back
Great course. Staff was very friendly and let me start playing before my tee time. It is still early in the season but the course is in very good shape. It was a bit rainy, so not many people on the course, therefore the pace of play was excellent.
Will return and would recommend to anyone!
average course
Layout was not too challenging, not too easy. Fairly forgiving. Fairways and greens in ok shape. I don't think anyone rakes the sandtraps at all here. Bunkers were poorly maintained.
Ok course for the price. Staff was friendly. Would go back but again not anything outstanding.
Good course
The course had a good challenging element. They just need to up their maintanence. Well priced.
Nice challenging course
Fun course with good layout... Greens are in good shape and large and forgiving.
Beautiful course
This isnt the first time ive played this course and wont be the last. Course has its hard holes and it forgiving ones. The course conditions are great especially for this time of year. Scenery is great and the pace of play here is always great. You will love this course.
A Nice Walk... not Spoiled!
The rains let up and we found ourselves on a beautiful course for the afternoon. The pro shop let us tee off on the red's (typically back nine) as there were a few groups on the tee of the blue. This was great as it allowed us to move at a speedy pace. Great day had, even if the score didn't reflect it! The course was in good 'early season' condition.
Nice course
Nice course. Generally in good condition. Playable and enjoyable for a variety of skill sets. Pace of play can be slow at times - would help if starter grouped players instead of allowing groups of all size from 1-4 players. Marshals on course could also help keep the pace of play moving along
Bad golf course conditions
The sand traps ,or should call them soil traps.
Poorly maintained, the entire golf course is very
Dated,it appears they haven’t invested any money
On the infrastructure in years. The course has a good
Layout, it could be so much better.
Decent track
Enjoyed the course. Good challenge but not too difficult. Early in he season greens were rolling above expectations. Big green complexes easy to hit but leave long puts . Would play again.
Glen Eagles Golf Coyrse
Glen Eagles is an older established golf course and always a challenging round of golf. It's a very scenic course full of hills and valleys. I always enjoy playing a round at Glen Eagles.
