Glen Eagle Golf Club - Yellow/Red
About
Located just northwest of Toronto, Glen Eagle Golf Club offers three unique nines that provide three different 18-hole, championship courses. Spread across a scenic terrain of rolling hills and valleys, each course has unique vistas. The Yellow/Red golf course combines the most difficult nine with another that is considerably shorter with many opportunities for birdies. The 3,227-yard Yellow nine provides a gentle start with several short par 4s but prepare yourself for the Red, which stretches to 3,521 yards from the tips. This nine is the most difficult, demanding long drives as well as accurate tee shots. There are also large, elevated greens that are heavily contoured and surrounded by bunkers.

Long and straight!!!!
A nice layout, if you can keep the ball straight!! We played GOLD and it played a very uncomfortable long with some holes with tough landing areas. Worth the price and pace was very good.
Glen Eagle not an Eagle anymore
Played this course last about 10 years ago and it was kept much better. Sat down to eat and was not served. When I asked if I could have a menu I was told I had to go to the bar to order lunch. The fairways were very dry and the bunkers were are hard as rock. No Marshals on the course. The Galway house had no one to serve you. It was closed and the paper towel dispenser was ripped off the wall. I would not play this course again.
Always good
Haven't played here in a while but the course was as good as I can remember in terms of conditions and pace. It was a weekday morning so pace was very good. This course has always been in good condition from what I can remember and this time was no different.
Great fun
Really enjoyed playing this course. Great condition. Great staff. The 18th is a massive 601 yards off the white tee! Into the wind made it even longer!
A great day out.
First time playing at Glen Eagle. Easy to get to location. Course was fun to play and in great shape. Layout provides every kind of shot off the tee and after. Pin placements were tough.
Great value for the course condition. Would definitely play again. Thanks for a fun day not in the office.
Excellent course, but had to pay an extra $20 for a cart to start early.
Excellent course to play, however I had to pay an extra $20 for a cart to start early.
I booked to play on Golf Now for 1 player with a cart at 12:00. I arrived at 11:25 to check in. The customer representative informed me that I have to wait for a threesome or I can pay an extra $20 for a cart - which I thought was included in the price I already paid.
The customer representative said that I should not have received that low of an offer to play, and that is the reasoning behind the extra charge.
Would have given the course a much higher rating if it was not for this issue.
Glen Eagle
The course was in very good shape. No one on the course, forecast was for rain but it held off. The greens were impeccable. Not too fat, but ran very true and smooth, and receptive. No putts taking large hops all over the green.
Some of the fairway bunkers were not kept well at all.
Great staff upgrades this rating
A moderate playing course that is a bit of a hike to get to makes itself a "go to" for me due to the great service from the staff, starting with the shuttle service to the pro shop to the clubhouse to the refreshment carts. Top notch job!
Great course...
Played there Tuesday and took us 3 hrs and 15mins to finish. Course in good condition and greens were fast.
Poor fairways and greens
Fairways had rough patches and greens were not rolled. Most putts took big bounces on the way to the hole.
great course and worth the drive
Always a decent deal going on for this course since it's quite a ways north of the city. I love this course overtime i make the hike up though. Greens are always in superb condition and pace of play is always good.
beautiful course
interesting and thoughtful layout for 18 holes. Will be back in summer.
Very nice course, well worth the play
Enjoyed the round on a 20c Nov 3rd with no wind !! Course was in good shape for late fall, want to play it next summer. Lots of ups and downs with elevated tees and water in play, good / fair challenge.
A real golf course
The day started out great courses in great condition staff is friendly price was right fairways were wide enough to keep the driver in play greens were large with not to many breaks good to work birdies..great views it was like Caledon/hockley best of both worlds...awesome track.I played the Old corse original layout...will definitely be going back I recommend this corse for intermediate amateur and pros alike.
This course has great services
The employees are really good-natured and their service quality is great. The maintenance of the course is excellent, and the overall appearance is pleasing to the eye.
Bolton
Great course greens are very firm and quick. There are challenging holes and the par 3s are all very tough from the blues.
very enjoyable
Good staff / good design to the holes / good parking facilities
It has been Years
I played this course 30 yrs ago as a kid and forgot how good it is.
Some things never change.

great course , great conditon, challenging ,but fair, fun to play.Fair price to play a course of this quality.Greens hard and fast but pretty straight in most spots
Great Greens on a Older Course
I thought I was back in the 70'swith an older club house.
The fairways were challenging over the hilly torrain.
The mature trees line the fairways to guide you around and if you keep it in the fairway, it's an easy 18. Rough is fair and not too deep.
Love the lush greens, gentle breaks and receptive to a long shot in.
He is wrong.
