VERY VERY DRY
Fairways poor shape....greens not bad course had 2 tourneys going.....very slow
Lake Ridge Links
Course was adequate but not in the good condition it was last time I played it with my son. The maintenance of cart paths is severely lacking and the overall lushness of the course was lacking. The traps although raked had edges with numerous weeds and poor definition.
Not the best value
The coarse was hard with dead areas in the fairways and around the greens. If I paid full price for my round, I would have felt ripped off.
Best green
You can’t find a public course with a faster green in the GTA. Rolls extremely well and true. Course layout is interesting and challenging. Strongly recommended.
No pride in ownership
It appears as though they've let the course go. Many missing or broken signs, broken benches at almost every tee box, very few yardage markers, marshals don't care about slow groups (apathy)... I can go on, but instead, I just won't play there again. Don't waste your money.
Good value
Course is in good shape , fairways could use some work but greens in good shape.
Nice for the money.
Out on a Sunday, tee off at 10:00, finish the round in 4 hrs. Can’t beat it.
WEEDS
Greens in great shape,lots of golfers not fixing ball marks on the greens, I think the course has stopped using weed killer. Weeds in the fairway ,tee blocks and sand traps.Sand traps need a lot of work. If they are being enviromentaly friendly I understand,but if they are then please get rid of the one time use plastic beer cups that the beer must be poured in. They say they have to but lots of courses just give you the open can.Over all the course is decent with a golf now hot deal but regular price is not worth it. the golfers were few and I think price to value is the reason
Very tired condition
As a past member I have not seen any improvements. In fact the course is getting old, fast. The bunkers are almost unplayable, the tee blocks are hard and uneven, the cart paths are horrendous and the benches have heaved and not been fixed in years. It seems all they do is cut the grass. Driving range wasn’t open and the grass area there has taken a beating without repairs Come on guys. Fix the problems or charge $25 cause thats about all it is worth nowadays.
Enjoyable round
Golfed Sunday of a long weekend and very few delays. Fast greens, thick rough, not a course for beginners. Enjoyed the round will be back here again this year
