Whispering Ridge Golf Course
About
Whispering Ridge Golf Course is an executive course that was designed to complement its sister course, the nearby Lakeridge Links. Although it does not have the same length the championship Lakeridge Links has, it still offers about the same level of difficulty. The layout offers a different set of challenges, providing a compelling alternative to the other course. Its design is versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. A few water hazards come into play throughout as well as several deep, strategically placed bunkers. The gently rolling terrain provides some undulations in the fairways and greens. The par-3 third hole is one of the most challenging on the golf course with a gulch along the right as well as sand and rough to the left, all waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. Accuracy is a necessity on this tricky hole.

Not worth more then 15 a round
Course is in terrible shape. Not just because of the lack of rain but due to lack of ownership caring. Tee box's were awful. Fairways are brutal. Staff was brutal. Just an all in bad experciance that wont see me coming back.
Beautiful setting extremely poor conditions
I have played this course many times but it has become a dust bowl. The fairways have not been watered during the hot dry summer and they've become cracked, dry dirt patches....no grass to be found.
I feel ripped off as the price does not take conditions into consideration.
Worst course evwr
This was by far the worst course I have ever played... Greens were horrible, tee boxes were awful, cart path was treacherous, half the signs were missing, there was garbage blowing around, ball wash stations were tipping over, I should've taken pictures to post just to show you how horrific this course truly was. I will never play there again wouldn't play there again if it was free, absolutely disgusting
Tournament
The Course had been fully booked with tournament. My tee time got held back an hour. The game took 6 hours all together. You can't swear on here but I have a few choice words.
Tournament
Golfnow didn't mention anything about it tournament Really wrecked a good day. Not a bad course to bad.
Course was good, value and staff were lousy!
When I booked with the this course I didn't realize it was a par 3 / executive course so $50 / person twilight was outrageous. This was supposed to come with a bucket of range balls which was never delivered on. The lady at the counter was more interested in talking get to people on the phone then on the line up in front of her. I was just happy to get the keys to the cart. After that I saw no one else that worked there. There was no signage as to where to go and we had to figure it out by using the map on the back of scorecard. I must give kudos to the maintenance crew as the course was dry but in good condition considering the weather we have been having. Unfortunately I cannot in good conscious recommend this course to other people.
Great course for all levels of play
Have been playing here for years and find it very enjoyable. Greens, unfortunately we're lightning fast and lots of burnt areas. But this has been universal at most courses due to the lack of rain. Great variety of holes. Only problem is the condition of the cart paths and lack of signage. This course is a hidden gen that I hope to enjoy for many years to come. Dining facility is very good. Nice place to have a beer on the patio looking over the beautiful Lakeridge course.
Needs a little TLC.
Fairways were dry and burned up in most spots. The bunkers could use some more sand and grooming. On the plus side, the greens were pretty good.
I would only play this course again if the price was right on Golfnow. I would say it's worth about $20 with cart.
Good course
Good course beautiful layout and well organized. Not rushed. A little expensive for the length but all in all I'll be back. A lot of fun to play!6(?
Played by my self
The course is great for intermediate golfers because it isn't that long.
Not crowded so I was able to play the whole round by my self and finished in under 3 hours.
The staff is amazing and be sure to stay for the food.
Average course
Slow play from group in front (obvious 2 were beginners) eventually a marshal came by. Told them to pickup the pace. They eventually let us play through.
Course was very dry.
course not maintained
I have played many times previously but have never seen the course in such a disarray. Half the holes had no board identifying the hole nor there were any ball washers. Fairways and greens were so hard the ball bounced almost 20 to 30 yards with big bounces. Try that on the green. No starter. Grass is mostly brown. I. Do not think it was worth the eaten charged. I am sure Lake Ridge is better maintained.
A round so good we had to play another
My friend and I got out for a round relatively early on a hot and humid Saturday morning and as always enjoyed an excellent round. The course was in great shape and the pace of play was excellent as always. Things were so good we decided to do a replay after some lunch, which was excellent as well. The replay rate is just too reasonable to pass up if you have the time.
Great day
Nice course for beginners
course condition
the condition of this course is deteriorating. we played 2 years ago and it was fine. it,s the baby course siding to Lakeridge course. they are letting what was a very good course deteriorate very rapidly as fairways poorly cut, weeds galore, some bad greens, and poorly leveled teeblocks. will not play again. very poor bunkers no sand
Nice course
Well kept short 18. Fantastic hot deal made this an exceptional value as a warm up course after the winter layoff. I would play this one again
Average golf course
With a little improvement on putting ground and customer friendly stuff can put this course to be above average.
whispering ridge
greens a little slow but it is early in the season.
Great course for the average golfer
We played the course on a rainy and cold day, but the course itself was in great shape. A real good course for the mid to high handIcap. This course shares a clubhouse with Lakeridge Golf Course which is more for the longer hitter with a low handicap. Only played this course a couple of times, but will play it again.
