Whispering Ridge Golf Course
About
Whispering Ridge Golf Course is an executive course that was designed to complement its sister course, the nearby Lakeridge Links. Although it does not have the same length the championship Lakeridge Links has, it still offers about the same level of difficulty. The layout offers a different set of challenges, providing a compelling alternative to the other course. Its design is versatile enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels. A few water hazards come into play throughout as well as several deep, strategically placed bunkers. The gently rolling terrain provides some undulations in the fairways and greens. The par-3 third hole is one of the most challenging on the golf course with a gulch along the right as well as sand and rough to the left, all waiting to swallow even slightly errant shots. Accuracy is a necessity on this tricky hole.

Worth it with a good discount
This is a well-maintained executive course. It can be a little pricey if you want to ride on weekends, but with the discount it was under $50 and a good value.
Really my only beef with the place is that for players that are there for the first time it's very difficult to know where the next hole is. A few signs would go a long way to improving the experience.
This course is well maintained.
We always enjoy playing Whispering Ridge. Course is well maintained. Staff are always friendly and willing to serve.
A great course to perfect your short game!
This is a great course and very well maintained, especially in the last 4-5 years after suffering heavy damage due to high rainfall and (at the time) inadequate drainage, which damaged many of the fairways.
Whispering Ridge is the little sister of Lakeridge Links. Unfortunately, the 9th hole doesn't bring you back to the clubhouse for a refreshment break, but due to it being a par 65, rounds rarely take more than 3.5 hours, even when busy.
The course is beautiful and holes rarely run side by side. The par 3's all play quite different lengths and incorporate water, sand, and elevation changes to keep you on your toes.
I love playing this course to work on my short game, and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area!
My only question to management: Why have you not yet made a price to play both Lakeridge and Whispering on the same day, including lunch and cart???? I'd do this all the time if it was a good discount!
One of my favorite courses in the GTA
Fun course with spectacular views. The well maintained course is challenging. One of my favorite courses. Make sure to take in the great country side views from every hole.
too expensive for the course
too expensive for the guality of course. the course is short but charges full price. traps are not maintained
Nice little course for a great price
Overall a nice short course with some scenic and interesting holes.
Challenging course.
Very interesting holes as they are mainly par threes but challenging. The cart paths could use a bit of work as they are very bumpy. The marshal was very nice as were the pro shop staff.
enjoyed course and friendly staff
wife and I played a very relaxed round as there was nobody behind or in front of us.played in less than 3 hours,is a nice layout and in very nice condition.thankyou for the great deal
Great course
This was my first time playing the course and was pleasantly surprised with the course conditions. The course was not busy so we finished in good time. Course had enough challenges to play strategic golf. Will definitely go back and try the gold tees.
Great little par 65 course...with interesting hole set-ups.
Enjoyed the course and it's challenges. Wet weather this season has messed up some of the low lying areas and cart paths need to be smoothed out or repaired.
Otherwise, clubhouse is great, cart service more than enough and greens were in great shape.
We are coming back !
Even on a long weekend, the course moved along well.
Beautiful Course
It rained the night before I played but course was still in pretty good shape. Some soft tee boxes and bunkers with water but not the course's fault. Other than that the course was very well maintained.
There are some gorgeous holes that make use of ponds/water features.
The pace of play was really quick. It was a long weekend so the course wasn't that busy. Played as a two some and a couple of three somes let us through. Round only took 3.5 hours.
The facilities were nice and clean. Staff was coridal. The drink girl came around a lot; probably saw her 5 times. Great value booking a hot deal. I would definitely play her again and/or the sister course Lakeridge.
Good course but has drainage problems
Great course for the money but when we where playing we were relegated to drive only in the rough because of the recent rainy days we had the course doesn't drain well. In all my friend enjoyed the course and wants to play again.
every hole is very different, excellent shape!!
excellent condition, moved fast ,challenging course , would golf again!!
Course is a nice way to spend the day
Course is generally in excellent shape. However the cart paths could use some care and the tee blocks need to be leveled.
Excellent Course, Love Playing Here
Whispering Ridge is an excellent course to play at. Even better with some of a deals. Great course and well maintained. Love coming to this place as you're never rushed and you can always expect a good round.
Great executiive course with challenging hole and in great shape
Excellent executive course with some challenging holes and course in excellent shape.
Value for Money for Beginners and Intermediates
At 4,500 yards, a good course for beginners and intermediate or advancing players wanting to improve their short game. Course is well maintained and conditions are quite good, except for a few spots, mostly path areas, which are poorly drained. Conditon of tee-box arears, fairways and greens are good. Many pair 3s'; can complete a round in about 2.5-3 hours. Green fees are reasonable; there's value for money.
very senic and good condition usually
Cart path improvements appreciated but more required. staff excellent. dining very comparable to "nicer"clubs.
Best Around
Most enjoyable executive course I have played. Many good holes with a challenging array. Numbers 3 4 11 13 14 and 17 are standouts. Course is always in great shape and the greens are moderate. Seldom crowded in the afternoons, our average time for 18 is three hours, threesome with carts. Also a nice walk, and in the fall the conifers don't drop leaves so the course is clean and green with a thousand different shades of brown in the fields and meadows.
