Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

Excellent Course for the price
We were playing on a hot sunny day. There are plenty of mature trees providing shade.
Staff Needs to respect players
Booked a 3some to golf on Sunday, nice course, well laid out. Challenging greens. We are weekend golfers who respect rate of play and are out to enjoy the course. A few things at Burlington Springs are an issue:
1. They announce you via PA system rather using a starter. It is LOUD and incredibly distracting. You can hear it pretty much through out the course.
2. The Marshall - As we did have a fourth join up, our game is to keep pace. The Marshall followed us and kept telling us we had to speed up. I understand if we were slow, but we simply were not. She approached 3 times! on two occasions, the group ahead of us were approaching the green and we were ON the tee box. She was asking us to hit into the group ahead!
We asked how long a round should take, we were right on time (4.5 hrs on a Sunday). We had even let a faster group play through.
When speaking to the manager, he was more interested in defense than listening to a concern.
If you are going to play at Burlington Springs, don't expect to enjoy yourself, be prepared to be harassed and distracted.
Well managed great conditions for late summer.
Nice layout and well managed course..a great Marshall aiding in moving golfers through #'s 2 and 4 enjoyed our time and will return.
nice supprise
after a dry brown summer it was nice to play something green
Excellent value for the price we paid!
Conditions were awesome. Forgiving layout, yet still challenging for me. Recently planted 25,000 new trees which will change the appearance dramatically in the near future.
Professional but not stuffy
Burlington springs is the one course I can count on to consistently keep the pace of play moving but in a friendly way. Having proper starter is key and unfortunately few non private courses are doing this anymore. Marshal is present but unobtrusive. The regulars are friendly and appreciate the rules for ready play. Such a pleasure to play a round in less than 3.5 hours without bumping into other holes. Well marked. A few wet spots on course. Moderate challenge. Professional and friendly.
Condition of the greens
Greens were not cut and rolled. A little slow for my liking. Due to undulation, the greens are probably slow to avoid 3 and 4 putts and thereby increase pace of play.
A day at Burlington Springs
Had another fun day at the course. Some challenging holes, but i was able to do a lot better than the last time i played here. Course was in pretty good shape, and the Staff were friendly as always. Will be looking forward to getting back real soon.
Cheers,
T. O'Brien.
Very good and getting better!
This course has been vastly improved from a few years ago; every part of the course is in good shape in spite of the hot dry summer (with recent rain). They have added large groups of trees, currently a free drop if you hit there. In a few years they will make this course that much more enjoyable and challenging. If you haven't played here for a few years, give it a shot; you will be very pleasantly surprised.
Burlington Springs
Great value, course is in excellent shape
Course in fantastic shape
considering the type of summer we've had, the fairways, greens, and tee boxes were in incredible shape - the course has been taken extremely good care of.
This course will surprise you
The course was in excellent condition despite the lack of rain in our area. Fairways were good and the greens were very green. The speed of the greens is quite slow, but overall, very puttable. There are several good long par 4's.
george
Too slow. Took five hours.
Great Course
Course is accommodating to singles.
An extraordinary public course!
Burlington Springs is a really good place to play!
Challenging holes, excellent marshaling and tough but fair greens!
The pace of play is great as long as you don't get into trouble, which is the same anywhere.
The people are really pleasant and the food is excellent!!!
This golf course is very friendly
Very comfortable to play the golf and recommend to the golfers.
Greens in great shape
Pretty good morning, nice greens, course was overall in great shape, was happy to play
Great Bang for the buck
Economically priced and golf course in good condition. Very busy because popular but very well run. Must be a patient golfer due to many people but still pretty good pace of golf
Very satisfied
Arrived to play alone if necessary but was teamed with a member by the name of Darrell who was an excellent golfer and very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the round very much. The course was in good shape. Not extremely tough but challenging enough for a weekend golfer. Greens were on the slow side but with the sun it would not have been prudent to cut them much shorter. All in all , had a very enjoyable round.
Great golf course
such a great golf course. Really enjoyed my round of golf, fairways were green and soft with well maintaned greens. Will be playing here again!
