Burlington Springs Golf Club
About
Situated along the edge of the Niagara Escarpment, Burlington Springs Golf Club offers the most scenic and affordable round in the area. While not quite a championship layout, the golf course does feature some longer holes that play alongside dense, mature forest. There are also some interesting water elements, including an underground reservoir that feeds several ponds that come into play throughout the course. The greens are large and heavily guarded by strategically placed bunkers and while the rest of the course is relatively flat, there is some undulation in the fairways. Burlington Springs is a traditional course that is both challenging and manageable enough to appeal to a wide range of skill levels.

A great morning
This course was a lot of fun. I found that y ou had to place shots as opposed to just swinging away. The course was in amazing shape. The fairways were like carpets. I will go back there any time to play.
Never a good experience here - poor staff and management
Having already had 2 poor experiences here prior to this day, I decided to give it another shot not expecting much.
My pair, along with many others had our tee times pushed back 30+ minutes because there was some sort of tournament (which had started on the back 9) that was being allowed to play through our tee times. Not a single group waiting was given any warning of a tournament, and there wasn't a single starter or staff in the first tee to help rectify the situation. When multiple people asked to start our rounds on the back 9, the pro shop staff refused. When asked again, he began to swear at multiple paying customers. Finally after 30+ minutes waiting, and all of the hassle given, we were allowed to start our round in the back 9. This isn't a way any golf course should be conducting its business and there's no way any staff should be treating its paying customers like that. An absolute joke.
this course is close to the city
always a joy to play here
Great day of golf
|Had a wonderful day on a very nice course for a reasonable rate.
Relatively easy course for average golfer.
This course is a relatively easy course to get around with some interesting hole layouts. The greens could be smoother but acceptable and the price is right.
There are tree plantings on some holes roped off so if your ball strays into these areas you get a free lift. I understand they need to do that to protect the growth but it can limit some of the types of shots you normally have to make. Great snack bar.
Decent Value
Overall consistent okay venue, nothing spectacular but not bad either. Greens very long and rather slow but decent condition.
Good course... But...
Good course but pace of play is quite slow. Expect 4.5-5.0 hrs round. Course in great condition as usual. Staff extremely friendly.
Holiday Weekend.
Early in the season but overall course was in good shape. It was busy and we were a pair behind a three some and a walking quad ahead of them so a bit slow but was a gorgeous day to be outside so we didn't mind. Lounge & bar closed early which was disappointing but there really was no one other than us, there
great course
For the time to year the Course was in great shape. The greens rolled very nice. The fairways dry out very quickly. Very rewarding course to play as not very difficult layout. Great for beginners and challenging enough greens for the low handicapper
Good Value
Great course to start the season. Fairly good condition considering the time of year. Greens have always been tricky because of the undulation. very slow greens but only because of the time of year.
The course gets better each time I play it.
Played this course many times over the years. It is one of my favorite golf courses. It is a great course for the average golfer but you have to place your drives and putt well to get a good score.
Good day out
Good effort by staff to get course in a playable condition
Forgiving Course
Great for stress free round of golf. Not too tough. Enjoyed it very much.
Poor course management
Review is based on this day only. It could be we got a bad day. Played this a few times a few years back and thought it was decent then.
We always arrive early for our tee time hoping at times to get off earlier. Booked on golfnow. Got to course and saw a major backlog of golfers waiting to tee off.
Reason for backlog, NO POWER CARTS left. So they asked us to be patient as it will be about 15 minutes wait pass our tee time to get the cart. The course did not offer any compensation or even free range balls or anything to anyone while they had to wait. We ended up teeing off 45 minutes AFTER our time because the course ran out of of power carts. Dragonfire gave free range balls when tee times were delayed due to FROST. But delays were only about 15 minutes when they told me 30.
Anyways even at discounted rates, the course is overpriced. The course is full of new trees being planted so alot of free lifts. Fair price should be no more than $50 with cart included as regular prime rate taxes in. However being in Burlington, prices are inflated a bit. Poor management on this day did not help either.
Course is easy and nothing special. One of the bottom course in Burlington IMO.
Always in good shape
Been playing here since 1964 shortly after it opened. It gets a lot of traffic but always kept in good shape. There is water on many holes some of them difficult but overall not intimidating. Good walking course as few hills. This is my go to course to warm up for the more challenging courses
Burlington Spring's Staff Provides a Great Customer Experience
I have played Burlington Spring's a number of times and have always been very well received by the staff that works in the Pro Shop, bar area and on course refreshment cart servers. By comparison the service received at Burlington Spring's far out weighs the service I've received at some of the "high end" courses. Truly it is run by people who "get it" when it comes to customer service.
The course itself is in great shape and provides a strong enough challenge for my game.
I will be back before the season ends.
Excellent Greens and Fairways
Fast manicured greens, excellent fairways, Interesting
rolling fairways, challenging, but not too difficult.
Good deal!
This course is a very good value. Greens are in great shape.
Value course
First time playing what is a well kept farmland course. Not over challenging and sometimes a little bland. One real drawback is all the free drop areas for extensive tree planting. Many shots just a little wide produce a free drop. Not playing my ball where it landed on maybe six drive is a bit much
