Course for Golf Enthusiast
Very nice course layout with challenges for any golfer. Approach shots to the pins requires acuracy for birdie opportunities as greens roll quickly and are challenging.
Bunkers play out easily(for those who like hitting out of them when necessary) and are well maintained.
A well maintained course overall.
Recommend to play for any golf playing enthusiast.
Where did they hide the lake?
This course is a hidden gem. One of the best courses to play in Burlington. ON. This course is not suitable for a beginner but offers lots of opportunity for those looking to use every club in their bag.
Thank you for your feedback.
Hope to see you out again.
Hidden Lake
Course is fairly laid out
Some holes are challenging when the wind is blowing.
If you cannot reach the par 5 holes in regulation, long irons tee to green is a better option.
Enjoyable
Good shape all around-except no potable water in any location; no on course drinking fountains were working, and other than buying bottled water from the cart girl, no drinkable water available(even at halfway house).
first game of the yearr in Ontario
great start well maintained for so early in the season.
No alert for temporary greens.
I would not have booked had I known all the greens where closed. Not cool.
winter golf
Course in decent shape for DECEMBER. Temp greens in use. Any golf in December is good as far as i am concerned. Good deals in the pro shop on end of season clothes
Golf course
its a greet golf course to play in summers other than that its pretty sure mole course to play nothing special about it.
new course
mostly build on old farming land, lacks character and design. easy course mgmt task even when playing there for the first time.
Nice course
This is a nice course with a challenging layout. The greens were a little bumpy as they were recently aerated recently, but fairways and sand traps were in good shape for so late in the season. Staff was very friendly.
Hidden lake.
Greens was air rated. Typical of this time of year. Any putt under 10 feet was basically a gimme. Fairways played well. And I enjoyed the round.
Mississauga Golfer
At this time of the year....the course is still in a very good condition. Hope to have more days like this in the next few weeks.
Good golf course
I have played this course for many years and really enjoy it. The are many challenging holes but they are all fair. It is a course that can accommodate golfers with different skill levels. The service is very good and there are rangers on the course to keep the pace of play reasonable.
Little to no value
Arrived as a single and was paired up with 3 other players. Tee off was 10am, I assumed it was early enough to get a decent pace. The pace was slow from the 3rd hole on, and it progressively got worse and worse. The back 9 were painful, at one point on the 14th hole there were 3 groups waiting at the tee. We found out a tournament had started ahead of us, hence the delay. Add to that sending out twosomes between foursomes and the course couldn't handle it. Tees were moved sometimes 20 to 40 yards forward for the tournament, tee boxes were not level, fairways were very bumpy and course needs some repairs. I rarely turn so negative on a course since playing golf is a natural pleasure but this time I'm afraid it was enough to not go there again. The design (New Course) poses no challenge either, lacks imagination and is not worth their rates by any stretch of the imagination.
It Was Hot
The course was in great shape and was well maintained. The pace of play was a little on the slow side, especially with the 40C humidex. The one club breeze made it bearable.
Staff could benefit from a course of customer service 101
We were looking forward to playing this course and when we got there, staff wasn't very pleasant to deal with. We seen them smiling and even saying thank you to people they knew that had been there before. no welcome or thank you for us.. seemed pretty cold? We were riding that day and they teamed us up with two newbies that were walking? Really? WTH! Maybe this was their way of saying don't come back.. Guess what it worked! Moviing forward will skip this course and just play at burlington springs, at least their staff is friendly and courteous..not only friendly to club members.
Nice Course
It was my first time playing Hidden Lake. It was a nice layout and I enjoyed the round. I think they recently toppped dressed the greens as they were a little grainy which didn't allow the putts to run true. Overall it was good course and I would recommend it. For a Friday afternoon, I couldn't pass up the price!
Good course great value
1st time playing the new course, (played old course sseveral times) I would recommend both courses and thanks to golf now, got a great deal on a twilight tee time, course and cart for $25.00. Can't beat that. Love the golf now app.

Hidden Lakes - great weather - great course
If the greens fees stay around $50 - I would pay more often. The course is just right for my age and skill level (63 and 14 hdcp)
Greens were fast and true - love it when you can put with confidence.
Staff - just awesome - tournament ahead of us were kept on pave and did not slow us down - thanks to expert marshelling.
Thank you for your kind words... Look forward to seeing you out again soon.
