Indian Wells Golf Club
About
With the towering cliffs of Mount Nemo on the Niagara Escarpment serving as a backdrop, Indian Wells Golf Club provides a scenic round of golf. Stretching along rolling terrain that offers views of the surround countryside, the front nine has ponds that come into play on six holes while the back nine features narrow fairways and dense forest. With a treacherous combination of water, ravines, and trees throughout, tight course management is top priority in scoring well. Indian Wells Golf Club's signature hole is the par-4 16th, which features a tough dogleg left that winds its way from an elevated tee through a forested valley and back up to a tricky elevated green.

Fall Golf
I've golfed Indian wells for many years and I will continue to do so. But I was very disappointed with the condition of the greens. They had been aerated & recently top dressed. I've never understood why courses do this before the end of the season. Most do, some don't. Is it the breed of grass, the temperature, the decrease in day light. The rest of the course was in reasonable shape... and I wasn't at work. Considering the condition of the greens, I thought the green fee would have been more reasonable. But I'll be back... next season.
Most beautiful landscape, excellent fairways & a challenging course
Definitely a great golf course to enjoy beautiful scenery. I think the course is so positively challenging that playing here would definitely improve my game due to variety of shots I may have to play every time. I highly recommend – you must play and check it out for yourself.

What a shame...
I haven't played at Indian Wells for several years (for no particular reason).
It's really a beautiful setting- especially at this time of year, and while the course isn't long, it requires precise shot making. You won't hit a lot of drivers here.
Here's the really unfortunate thing....the front 9 moved a long nicely and we finished in just over 2 hours but then (for whatever reason) it came to a grinding halt on the 10th tee box and took over 3 hours to play the back! The marshal came by on the 14th tee box and when we mentioned how slow it was, he told us there were no open holes, it was just a 'slow day'.
I'm sorry, 5 hours and 20 minutes is just WAY TOO LONG for a round of golf!
I read about someone's very similar experience yesterday before I played, and then I lived it today!
Whatever is happening out there it needs to be fixed. What a frustrating day at an otherwise beautiful golf course.
I don't intend to return any time soon.
A fair challenge
Have played this course about 3 to 4 time per season for a couple of decades. Has some challenging holes but has some moderate holes as well. Course is well kept with fast greens. Sometimes can be slow, but that's just GTA golf. Staff is always very friendly.
Tough challenge. Good condition
A worthy challenge. Enough tee box variety to pick your play. Great layout. A few tee boxes need work. Overall great course.
