About
Tyandaga Golf Course is located in the heart of Burlington surrounded by the rugged beauty of the escarpment that encloses it. The municipal course is popular for its player-friendly layout. It has a gentle nature but it does offer a fair amount of challenges. Bunkers are strategically situated along the fairways and greensides. There are also a few ponds and a meandering stream that comes into play on several holes. One of the most difficult holes is the par-3 ninth, which features hazards along the entire right side from tee to green. It is a beastly 168 yards but par is possible. The back nine finishes with a strong hole as well. Tyandaga's tricky final hole has out-of-bounds down the right side but there is ample room down the left side for the tee shot. The deep green is sloped front to back with a bunker to the front right.

We were there the four of us and just by chance it was the courses 60th anniversary so we got lucky and only paid 60$
Our only issue was the direction to follow the holes of play
we ran into a group that was looking for the 11th hole while we were playing at the 17 th
Course could be more easily marked , had trouble finding the 13 th hole because the sign was facing back words ( easy fix ) just turn the sign around.
Trouble finding the tenth hole from the ninth , direction markings painted to follow to the tenth would be a good idea .
Staff help us with that one 9 thank you )
We played Sunday the 15 th , started at 1 30 and finished at 5 30 only to find that the restaurant was closed. ( dis-appointing .)
Would have been nice to relax for awhile and grab a snack or cool drink.
Other than that
It's a nice course to play , very friendly and helpful staff which we appreciated.

Fairways very dry and hard; Greens and around the greens excellent condition.
The guy who runs the beverage and food department should be fired. He accuses patrons without proof of having outside acholic beverages in their bags even before the round started at 9:20 am. he just made the golf experience a bad day. Have played this course many times and never had this issue. It will be a long time before we ever book back here again.
Great course, great twilight value, poor snack and drink service
Had a round of twilight at 1600hrs... all food and drink service was closed. Kinda strange for a Saturday night...
Hot deal
Course conditions were good. There was a course full of kids. Had to have the Marshall encourage them to keep it moving.
Layout change
It has been years since I last played course and I was extremely disappointed in the 18th hole change from a long par 5 to an extremely short par 3 ! The course was there long before the houses bordering on that hole and they would have been well aware that there was a golf course in their back yard. To complain about it and worse to have the city of Burlington to cave in and change the course is reprehensible!
Bring back the holes
