Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

needs some attention
extremely dry fairways and some unkept tee boxes. the greens were good ... only some occasional spots. pace of play was good most of the day.....they have an unusual high amount of singles playing the course...still a good time.
Started and ended pretty rough
Staff was honest and cool. 318 tee time and my cart cart did not get delivered until 335. They continue to run short on busy days. Despite the late start, we ran into a group on our first hole - course was so backed up a few groups had made the turn and started over again. To add to that, these few groups had zero etiquette. Multiple balls off the tees, waiting for par 4's to clear from 350 yards, and generally just annoying our group of decent golfers.
Course was in decent shape. Greens were good. A lot of invasive grasses in the fairways. The layout here has always been good with a good mix of challenging and easier holes. Twin Creeks needs to invest in marshals to help their pace of play and keep people honest. I won't be back, but the course's location means it will continue to be packed with recreational golfers.
We made it to hole #15... and we ran into four (4!) groups waiting to tee off. After watching a group of 4 hit 7 tee shots, I gave up. Good luck Twin Creeks.
Sun down at Twin Creeks
The course was not crowded. We were able to play 12 holes straight through with very little waiting. We had a good time.
No tree at the blue tee box to avoid Sun
This course is better than reputation. I really impressed.
Course was in great shape
Course was in great shape. Its a fun layout. Water comes into play on more than a few holes. 16, 17 and 18 are a tough stretch with water in play.
good round
Greens rolled good. Slightly on the firm side. Good greens.
Lack of carts / slow players
We come here because it's close by.
The course isn't bad, and staffs are nice, but the pace of play is very slow. There were 2 twosomes that should've been paired together.
There weren't any marshals to keep the pace, which was probably some of the reasons of slow pace, but the players need to realize their pace of play...
We had to wait past our tee time to wait for the carts to be available as players were mainly using single player / cart. Should plan better of supply/demand. Slow pace doesn't help either...
Nice course
We had a great time at Twin Creeks today. The starter was really friendly, the course has nice rolling hills, and the pace of play was great. Greens were still in good shape for late summer. Only complaint is there is a bit of a drive between some holes and the tee box location relative to the previous green isn’t intuitive. Overall though a great value for the money. Will play again.
I have fun each round
At 71 years of age my skills have waned, but I can still play the white men’s tee boxes and it matches my abilities well. For the senior fee a great value. Course conditions are average or slightly above average, mostly due to plentiful crabgrass in the rough. Fairways generally yield good lies on green Bermuda. The greens are designed really well. However a little bumpy from time to time, but very playable. Due to Covid-19 restrictions no in clubhouse dining. Cart girl is available each time I have played, but could make more passes through the course, especially with the recent heat. I have read reviews critical of the staff. I find the opposite. Cameron in the pro shop remembered my name the second time I played. The cart staff very friendly and smiles and speaks to me. My one room for improvement suggestion would be a regular Marshall driving through the course backwards helping to keep pace of play problems down and course etiquette followed. With proper training and free golf and range balls Mon-Thursday and weekend twilight there would be retirees willing to spend 4 hour shifts performing marshaling duties. Overall, I have never rated any public course a 5 star across the board. We all can improve. But for me anyway, I am very pleased with staff, conditions and value!

Enjoyable Course
Glad to see they've finally repaired the bridge from #8 to #9 so we can now play the course in the regular sequence. Overall, the course was in good shape. Some very enjoyable holes.
