Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

No connection and Mail box in Full
Disappointed being Closed without information, no phoneconnection and recorded Mail box in Full. Wasting valuable my time and ⛽ ..
I knew Corona pendemics.. But
Nonetheless business management...
Courss still a little muddy from the recent rains.
Fun Layout
I had fun playing this course for the first time. There is a lot of ups and downs on the course with some challenging holes in regards to water and sand traps.
Twin Creeks
Twin Creeks is starting to get into spring shape. Fairways are becoming green and tee boxes are in good shape. The greens in great shape for this time of year. Played after a heavy rain and was cart path only, still got done in under four hours.
Great Layout
Fun and somewhat challenging layout
Terrible greens
Five hours rounding
Bad Day
I enjoy playing Twin Creeks for the most part. Usually can get a round in about 4 hours most weekend days. Last Sunday (2/16) it took over 5 hours to play 9 holes! The group in front drove all over the tee boxes and up to the greens! No Marshall on the course, it was a real s show. Also if you are going to have a tournament, start it early morning, not at noon so that when others show up there are no carts!
Recent rains have left the course muddy in spots, plus not much grass in other areas. Best to wait until spring to go play. greens extremely fast.
Fix the bridge or renumber the holes!
Course and greens were in good condition. Tee boxes were a little chewed up, especially on par 3s.
Staff is great and engaging.
My only complaint is that groups start on the 9th hole. They still haven't fixed the 8th to 9th bridge yet and it doesn't appear that they are going to do anything about it. Either fix the bridge or renumber the holes. I was on the 14th hole when I realized I had been writing my scores from 1 to 6. Just really confusing when talking about the front and back nine. Was the front nine holes 10-18, e ones I played first or 1-9. I would hope that their management or Twin Creeks development could rebuild that bridge.
Body Bags All Over the Course
Haven't played TC in about 6 years. Refused to return because there was virtually no water dispensers on the course and the cart paths jar your liver. Today, it was windy and cold. No need for water to drink. But the cart paths still suck. The greens are in really good shape. For the most part, the fair ways are generous. The best defense TC has are all of mounds placed to strategic locations on several holes. There are no holes with special surprises in the topography. I will tell you, please do not be long on the par five 15th or the par four 10th.
Left Frustrated
We started at 1:07 and couldn’t finish with four holes left because of darkness. Every hole was backed up at least 2 or 3 groups. There was no marshal. As we drove off the course we were able to understand what caused the problem. The two groups ahead of us each had 5 people playing from multiple tees. In front of them was a new one I had never seen, a group of 6. This is the final straw for me. This type of parings destroys the golfing experience. It was torture. I can’t believe any course would do this.
Ridiculously slow play but course in good shape
Not entirely sure how you let multiple groups of 5 and 6 people play together but that’s what happened today. Guess there hurting for cash. Course is in good shape. Greens are solid. Slow play was horrific
