Twin Creeks Golf Course
About
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay designed the Golf Club at Twin Creeks (named after the two creeks that run through the course) to integrate with five strategically placed lakes that come into play. For the most part, the fairways here are generous, rolling peacefully toward large, undulating greens. Hole 11 is one of the best, a 383-yard par 4 with trees lining the fairway and a difficult green guarded by several giant pecan trees. No. 17, a 409-yarder with water on the right, requires a monster drive to carry the full body of water. The best play is to aim left even though the approach will be a bit longer. Golf Digest has rated Twin Creeks as high as 10th for the "Best Public Course" in Texas.

Amazing layout
Course has amazing design. Fair risk reward. Some spots have overgrown crabgrass but not many. A couple greens were bumpy but overall, an amazing course at a great value. Greens have tons of topography and we’re deceptively quick.
Meet good people
Enjoyed the round with a couple of guys that I met at the course. Course is in good condition, but the greens were a little bit slow.
Course needs some help
TC's is a nice layout and has good bones, but some reason the current staff can't seem to keep up with watering the greens and fairway to keep the grass alive. Greens were recently punched, and portions were damaged beyond repair. Sad to see it, but hopefully someone will come through this course and pick it back up.
Greens bad
The greens are punched and not good at all. Fairways good for the most part but the course looks like no fertilizer has been added this year. The bridge is fixed with a really nice one.
Bad Greens
I play Twin Creeks quite often and can't figure out why they can't seem to ever get the greens better. At $60 a round and plenty of play you would think they could. This is a fun layout and would be great if the greens could return to average.
Back to playing shape
Glad to golf here again The course is in great shape and always fun. Fast play we played 18 in 3hours and 24 mins on a Sunday.
Not maintained
The conditions here are just not good. The ground was so hard I couldn’t get my tee into the ground. There were bare patches and unmowed grass throughout.
Please Review Courses Honestly
My mother always told me - "don't say anything, if you can't say something nice." I love the routing of the holes at Twin Creeks. Great combination of physical and strategic challenge. Plus, if you cut the ball like I do, it sets up nicely. Having said that, the course is dying for some attention. it just looks shaggy. Tee boxes have been allowed to become overrun with weeds. Rough areas should be "rough," but don't you want it to look like you care about it. The greens had been recently punched, and I'm OK with that (although there didn't seem to be a notice on the website - maybe I missed it). However, punched or not, the greens would have been horrible. Inconsistent grass height and many, many bare spots.
I hadn't played TC in a long time. I decided to play it, based on recent reviews that indicated it was in really good shape. That proved to not be the case. Here's my request to everyone who posts reviews. Be honest with what you see and experience. People will make decisions, based on what you tell them. Be upfront with them.
Thanks!
Needs an upgrade
The course is in terrible condition and needs a lot of upgrades. How about some cold water on the course....and the greens are bad!!
Twin Creeks Golf Course
Beautiful course! Lots of hills, challenging, beautiful surroundings!
Fun Round
Course is in great condition and is well taken care of. Greens may need a little bit of work, but overall it was fantastic. The only recommendation I would have is to bring the left side of the fairway on number eight up a little bit, because I hit a ball in the fairway and it went into the water, which should not happen.
Better than Most
This course has received bad reviews over the past few years...that was the past...good conditions for public play...pace of play just fine...Twin Creeks is as good or better than the other courses in the area. Kudos to the current management company which I believe is Arcis golf
Fun course
Loved this track, it’s fair & in good shape. Greens are solid & the pace of play was great. I’ll definitely be back soon.
