About
Located in Cambridge, Grand Valley Golf Course has become an area favorite since opening in 1982. Each of the 18 holes has its own unique character that combine to offer something for every golfer. The front nine of the course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and challenging greens that are difficult to read. Right away, golfers are forced to choose accuracy over distance since straying from the fairways could result in an extremely difficult lie. Golfers will be able to make up for this on the back nine where long hitters have the opportunity to showcase their skills. These holes open up a bit more and feature wider fairways. Distance off the tees will be met with great rewards at Grand Valley Golf Course.

Overall good experience
Was greeted with a friendly attitude and a smile. No rush to play and a very peaceful experience. Tough yet fun course overall!
Cheaper Price Now We Know Why
The coarse it self not bad, greens need some work, not cut very well. Tee time was 11:20am beverage cart girl was all over the coarse, driving across fairways, stayed to her favorite customers, said she would grab some snacks at the pro shop never did and drop by us several times after the fact. Guys behind us hitting the ball before we finished the hole. No coarse marshals to make sure golfers are abiding the rules. Cart girl definitely over served the group of guys behind us, as they were buying a round of beer pretty much every other hole.

Good little forgiving course. Decent elevations and some good dog leg holes. Pins in tough spots made it fun
Steady improvements
Course is under new ownership currently in their second year of managing the course, and every week they are making steady improvements. Improved tee boxes, the grass is cut better and fairways have some shape, grass itself is in good condition as well. Cart paths are improved, areas of the course are roped or blocked off to further preserve conditions. A lot of people expect this course to be full on TPC levels and that's just unrealistic. The owner regularly goes out and gets feedback from people and you see the changes quickly. I'm excited to see what it's like in a couple seasons.
Poor maintenance
I like the course tight front 9 but open back 9….teeboxes weedy and fairways more weeds then ever before and the greens although you could putt good enough on them they weren’t smooth like a green should be
