About
Located in Cambridge, Grand Valley Golf Course has become an area favorite since opening in 1982. Each of the 18 holes has its own unique character that combine to offer something for every golfer. The front nine of the course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and challenging greens that are difficult to read. Right away, golfers are forced to choose accuracy over distance since straying from the fairways could result in an extremely difficult lie. Golfers will be able to make up for this on the back nine where long hitters have the opportunity to showcase their skills. These holes open up a bit more and feature wider fairways. Distance off the tees will be met with great rewards at Grand Valley Golf Course.

A disaster of a course
Booked a tee time for May 4th. When I showed up are the greens and fairways had literally just been aerated. The mud clumps were all over the greens and fairways. Course was not playable. They said the would cancel my reservation with GolfNow and note that the course had been aerated with GN. I just checked my credit card and they did not cancel as I was still charged for a round I didn't play. When I called and told the the issue they said that I would have to get GN to reimburse me.
Great value
We paid $37 with a cart for 18 holes. Cart paths need help and the holes are jammed in pretty tight. Food in the restaurant is excellent!
Some grass would be nice.
Course badly needs water. Tee boxes and fairways were awful. Greens had grass and were green but would not even hold a sand wedge. Drier than the courses i play in Florida. Quirky layout with severe green complexes.
Two groups on our first tee.took about 15 extra mins. Just to start..people all over..wife just missed by a four yell.....
Disappointed
Course hardly has grass. You'll be shooting off of hard dirt
Rough shape
The course is in rough shape, dead grass, greens are all dried and full of dead spots/ holes up. I wouldn't golf here again
Great short course
Good course cut into the woods. Short course with short Par 4’s but challenging. Very much placement golf.
Unfortunately, the course was VERY dry with the lack of rain. Greens were in bad condition.
Good potential
It is a good looking course, trees everywhere and nice setup. But there wasn't a starter, so pace was nuts. Tee blocks were pretty bad, and the greens were awful.
I think it has good potential if the owner can keep it up and improve conditions. The course itself really isn't bad, and if it had better greens I would enjoy it quite a bit I imagine.
The course has potential.
The course felt neglected. It hasn’t been watered. There were bare spots on the tee blocks (some with no grass at all). Almost impossible to take a divot.
A little grounds keeping attention would go a long way into improving the courses popularity.
