About
Located in Cambridge, Grand Valley Golf Course has become an area favorite since opening in 1982. Each of the 18 holes has its own unique character that combine to offer something for every golfer. The front nine of the course features narrow, tree-lined fairways and challenging greens that are difficult to read. Right away, golfers are forced to choose accuracy over distance since straying from the fairways could result in an extremely difficult lie. Golfers will be able to make up for this on the back nine where long hitters have the opportunity to showcase their skills. These holes open up a bit more and feature wider fairways. Distance off the tees will be met with great rewards at Grand Valley Golf Course.

Course is very basic, best for beginners
No sand traps, no paved cart paths, very bumpy for carts, fairways were very mediocre a few holes fairway just looked like someone's backyard cut grass. Some of the tee decks were all dirt. Wasn't overall impressed with the course for the price. I think for $10-20 less it would be justified for course conditions but much nicer courses in the area for comparable prices. Staff and other golfers were friendly and helpful which was good. Main issues were just courses conditions. Carts were also very slow and struggle going up inclines with 2 guys around the 200lb weight..

Marshal required to maintain a good pace. Also golfers should repair ball marks
Greens in terrible shape ,fairways full of weeds and in bad shape , many projects going on none complete. Moved tee boxs ahead on some holes making a shorter course

Excellent course
Course was in good shape. Staff was very friendly and the food from the restaurant was great. The course was very exiting to play.
It has not rained for weeks
I've been playing the course a few times a year for years now but this was the worse I seen the course in... I will say the greens were in good shape (maybe send a guy out in the morning to blow the debris off some of them) but the tee blocks were almost unplayable, needed a hammer just to get a tee in the ground, gotta be a way to get a bit of water on those tee blocks
Course could use some TLC
The front nine was is very rough shape. It was difficult to get your tee into the ground as it was very hard. The greens had a lot of debris on it and we were stuck behind a group of 5 golfers which slowed the pace of play a lot.
Digusting
The course has no redeeming qualities. Terrible hard-packed tee-off areas. The greens were aerated, brownish color, contained ant hills and dandelions.
Quite a bad course
This course is very bad. No maintenance of sorts. All T boxes were beaten up and Greens had no grass whatsoever
Terrible all around
No grass on tee offs. Aerated greens. Unputtable with dead grass, dandelions and ant hills.
Tees were a mess and were being aerated. Greens had winter damage and were not very smooth which affected putting. Fairways were in good shape

Unless you want to pay for a course that is absolutely in need of... everything, stay away. Was one of the worst condition courses I have ever ever played, anywhere! Horrible condition from tee-boxes being dirt, fairways badly diseased and not cut and not know where the 1st cut is, dandelions everywhere and can't find your ball, greens badly diseased and your ball jumps all over with no chance to make any putts, cart paths that have bigger pot holes than an off-road track, ball washers that are broken and pull our when you use them and eye sores / old scrap discarded all over. I'm usually not this harsh with reviews but seriously, it wasn't even acceptable for a hacker. After the 1st hole I was very upset and wanted my $'s back. On the upside, pro-shop / wait staff were very nice and accommodating. This course has been totally left to die with zero upkeep, maintenance. Such a shame.
