Dragon's Fire Golf Club

I play this course every week. Excellent condition. Challenging but fair (and big) greens. Would recommend to golfers of every skill level for a fun experience!!

We enjoyed playing Dragons Fire. Found the front 9 holes, quite similar, almost repetitive. The back nine is very enjoyable & the 17th hole has a couple of resident black swans which do a great job of keeping the geese away.

Awesome practice facility including range / greens and chipping and sand.

Group ahead were 10 min late but we weren’t allowed to tee-of even though we were ready to go at the first tee box. Each hole had 3 groups waiting. The golf carts are very comfortable and modern except they are the slowest I’ve ever rented !! Maybe increase the speed of the carts to quicken pace of play. Seriously management can do better than this. Very simple fix

The course was in great condition and I consider what we paid to be justified. Great course in amazing condition.

Good to see that the benchmark $79.95 + tax and + $20 per rider for a cart is starting to crack. Hoping management finally will realize people actually using the course is better than a course sitting empty. Course is nice, but not $110 nice…lol…hey Dragons ever hear of Crosswinds?….

Now started to drop price a few days before to something a little more realistic for amenities offered, Dragons with no clubhouse, construction site washrooms, and food served from a trailer….your not a $100 course…accept that and drop the price points , or take some Covid money and invest in some capitol projects. Pace of play on any weekend is 5 hrs, prepare to wait 14 of 18 holes every single shot. If your aware of that going into round, lessens the pain and frustration during.

Easy to manoeuvre ....follow cart path...no confusion.

Two groups of men ahead...lots of noise..perhaps beer related....one group ended up in water with riding cart on 18...perhaps brake issue...our cart brake was touchy

Hoping for Golf SPECIAL in October...too expensive for regular play...but would love to return.

Each hole has a diverse challenge in getting to green. Shots must be played smartly. Any par is earned.

I have played this course probably 15 to 20 times over the last three years. Always a pleasure to play. Very friendly staff and the course is in great condition. Today I got an email that they are now strictly enforcing golf now rule of charging for no-shows. Two weeks ago two of our foursome called the morning of our teetime and could not play. This has happened many times in the past yet we have never been charged. Tim, the manager toda,y tells me “I find that very hard to believe.“ Checked with all my golfing buddies who book teetimes here. No one has ever been charged if players bailed last minute. I understand they need to charge people for no-shows who consistently do so but loyal players, who love the course, come and play often and get charged out of the blue is a bit off side I think. No warnings given, and at the time of paying at the pro shop was not told we would be charged extra for the two that did not show. Poor business decision today Tim . You got $180 and lost probably 20 golfers as we will not play there again.

I’ve golfed here many times a season over the past 5 years or so. Weather yesterday was perfect. Course was in good shape considering the rain we had the day before. Range area was the only muddy area.

Pace was not consistent today. We waited on at least 6 of the 18 holes due to slow pace in the foursome 2 ahead of us. That caused the group behind us to catch up to us and have to wait as well.

Otherwise, a good round.
