About
Cranberry Golf Course was carved from the picturesque landscape of southern Georgian Bay and has the distinction of being Canada’s first Audubon Society-certified golf course. There is some slight undulation in the bent grass fairways but overall the terrain is flat, making it accessible for beginners since there are no dramatic elevation changes or severely uneven lies. The front nine has numerous water hazards and plays a bit longer than the back nine due to a handful of lengthy par 5s. Cranberry Golf Course's back nine plays shorter and dryer but there are difficult doglegs and several large, strategically placed sand traps. There are also grass bunkers and contouring around the greens for added challenge.

slow round
There were 2 twosomes playing in front of our 3some. They were very slow and not asked to play together to speed things up. There were no marshalls out on the course to witness this. The course is nice and challenging, but 5 hour + rounds make me crazy.
Course is nice and in great shape. Rough beside fairways is long making ball finding difficult. This slows pace of play on busy day. Greens were fast (perhaps they had been cut that day). Staff are friendly.
Cranberry Resort
Played twilight on Sunday and got the round of 18 in under 3 hours. Staff very friendly and helpful. Didn’t stay afterwards but the patio looks really inviting. Will for sure play again.
Nice course
Nice layout, staff was accomodating and very friendly. The fairways and greens were too long. the greens were very slow and fairways way too long imo.
great weather and had a lot of fun with my buddies. over priced for what it was.
Very nice course
Course is in wonderful shape. Pace if play good, beverage cart available on hot day. Golf carts kept running out of steam sputtering down fairway. Will play again with Golfnow.
Course in great shape.
Started a few minutes early, pro shop staff were great, especially Kyle.
Course is in great shape for this time of year, greens a touch slow but consistent.
19th. hole on the Deck is great, amazing view of Blue Mountain.
Excellent Course
Very enjoyable, can play 3 tee boxes to add 300 yards to each. Great staff, very flexible. they will accommodate your request if reasonable and conditions permit.
Enjoyable round
Always a good round at Cranberry. Course was in good condition. Pace was slow, due to the high turnout because of the good weather.
Nice course
Very friendly and accommodating staff... the course has a mix of challenges. Some holes allow for redemption from the harder ones. Really nice fairways...
Great Resort Golf Course
Very enjoyable round of golf. The course was in excellent condition even though it was the first day of the season. Interesting layout and just challenging enough for the average golfer.

1 Week before closing for the season and the course was in great shape. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Great shape. Pleasant staff
First time playing this course along with a friend. Teamed us up with another pair who we got along great with. Course in good shape. Some real challenging par 4 holes. Perfect weather day. Sunny, slight breeze. Light winds.
No half way house. The way the course is laid out, after nine holes you are as far away from the clubhouse as you will be. However, the food/drink cart was out today. (Thankfully). Really enjoyed the day.
Cranberry Golf Resort, a hidden gem!
Great round on Friday, late start meant that we finished in the dark but the course was fun not too tough and a few really pretty holes.
Good round
Pleasant course on a very warm September day! Course was fairly wet which made it play long. The course is fairly flat without views of the lake.
another enjoyable round
Booked as a single but paired with two other singles. Turned out to be quite an enjoyable round as the other players were also decent golfers with similar handicaps. Played from the Blue tees. Course was not too busy and we were never waiting on the tees. Cart person came around several times during our round, as well as the marshall. Course conditions were good - fairways cut, greens true. Weather was also calm but not hot. Still a lot of construction of new homes around the course. This has affected the layout a bit over time - some for the better and some not. Overall, still my favorite course in Collingwood area. Recommended.
