Cranberry Golf Course
About
Cranberry Golf Course was carved from the picturesque landscape of southern Georgian Bay and has the distinction of being Canada’s first Audubon Society-certified golf course. There is some slight undulation in the bent grass fairways but overall the terrain is flat, making it accessible for beginners since there are no dramatic elevation changes or severely uneven lies. The front nine has numerous water hazards and plays a bit longer than the back nine due to a handful of lengthy par 5s. Cranberry Golf Course's back nine plays shorter and dryer but there are difficult doglegs and several large, strategically placed sand traps. There are also grass bunkers and contouring around the greens for added challenge.

Great layout, rewards good shots. Greens a touch slow. Each hole plays on it's own no parralel fairways.
I enjoyed the round immensely. Pace of play was great, mind you it was on a Wednesday afternnooon at 1:30PM. Played with 2 players that knew the course. Holes are not marked at tee blocks have to rely on the card. Starter was super friendly. One drawback I found when playing holes near condo deveopments, people sit on balconies oblivious to golfers and chat at a somewhat loud level.
Great Staff, course in good shape
Staff was GREAT! From pro shop to starters to marshal's, all were top notch. Played 18 in just over 3 1/2 hours. Marshal's kept checking throughout round. Weather (lots of rain) has course in great shape and well maintained.
Nice changes made to this course over the past few seasons.
Playing from the Blue tees offer a good challenge at 6225 yards. Some very nice changes to the Cranberry Golf Course have made for a good test of your golfing skills. In particular is the lengthening of the 7th hole bringing the small creek that runs in front of the green into play on your second shot.
Nice course which I will definitely play again and recommend to my golfing buddies.
Really enjoyed playing this course. Great shape.
Course is well maintained. Enjoyed playing with the special rate from golf now. Challenging, friendly staff.
The course was in very good shape and we enjoyed the new layout .

I will be watching Golf now for further deals on this course .

We hadn't played this course in many years and we were pleasantly surprised to see how well the course had matured. It was in excellent shape for mid October and the greens rolled true. The greens were also as big as I had remembered. A great deal for a great course.
very quiet september week day afternoonlast minute decision to play and got some great golf in 2 1/2 hours
we were staying at cranberry resort
called down to book time and rate and was told $70.00 including cart- thought it was high for the time of year etc- checked the golf now site and found a tee off time 20 minutes from what i had booked for $27
thats easy math- well down
the staff at pro shop and in general seemed uninterested to be there- got off the course at 605 and everything was closed up no where to sit, no beer to finish the day off- dont get me wrong great round of golf --course in great shape - prefer the golf now rate
Quick and Good Value
Had my doubts about playing here and was really pleasantly surprised. The staff is friendly and we always get around quickly.
was a good course
Conditions were poor - course booklet was so far off yards and course layout - 2 previous visits I really enjoyed the course - I was embarrassed as I brought 2 friends who both stated they would never play this course again - conditions were hideous - pace was slow - no players assistants to question - 1 to 10 rating low to high - rate 3
A very enjoyable round
It has been a few years since I played at Cranberry. 15 years ago, I had a membership. Since then, the course has gone through some changes to accomdate the condo developments. Overall, I think the course is in good shape. The one big improvement is with the bunkers. A few have been added and the sand is nicer than I remember.
I look forward to returning soon.
