Always a good round
Quarry is always a challenge, no matter how often you play. Undulating fairways and tricky green placements make for a good round.
Scenic views
This course is a little off the beaten path but is quite spectacular to say the least. This course is laid out over rolling hills and numerous challenges await. You must be able to carry numerous obstacles and better be good with you sand wedge because there are numerous bunkers.
Overall the course was in great shape and staff was very friendly.
Many Bunkers Being Reworked
The month of May had unusually high amounts of rain and this may be a big factor in the condition of the bunkers. As an estimate I would say that about half were without sand, down to the drainage tiles. Okay, so just stay our of the bunkers, right? The only issue I had of this was we were not made aware of this before we booked. Perhaps because we didn't book directly with the course.
Considering all of the rain, and with the exception of the above, the course was in quite good condition.
This track is always challenging and deceptively hilly, especially on the back 9.
Unless you have young legs, I do recommend a cart.
Well Worth the Drive
This was my first time playing the Quarry and I found it extremely Challenging. The greens were extremely fast but ran very true. I would definitely be back to play again. It would definitely have been more enjoyable if they had a layout of the course on the back of the scorecard or of each hole at the tee box as we had to guess where the greens were on a few of the holes.
Nice track but.....
Course was fantastic except the bunkers! They were hard as a rock and virtually impossible to play out of.
No sand in any of them.
For early fall the fairways and greens were in great shape

Tough greens!
This course is very challenging....the greens are wicked. It's in great shape a very good challenge for all golfers. Again bring your A game when putting. I am rating it tied for second out of six courses in the area. Baxters creek number one, Bellmere Winds tied for second. About to play Black Diamond on the 4 th of August. What a great golfing trip to Peterborough or Lindsey!!!
Great Shape
The course was in great shape with how little rain we have had the fairway and greens were as good as I have ever seen the course. The course is a risk and reward type course you can play it conservative or go for it either way you are in for a fun day of golf.
Great Course, short but tough!
We played the blues which were shorter than I'm used to when playing from blues but there were some really tough tee shots.
Course was in great shape for this time of year and the value is amazing!
I will definitely have to come back and play this course in good weather!
ALWAYS a good day at the Quarry
The Quarry is a great local course. Fabulous greens, best in the region, and enough variety to keep it interesting. Not a precision course, more of hit it and hit again layout, but some forced carries, and optical deceptions lay in wait of your judgement. Always fun, always well paced, and always a fair price for a course of this quality.
One of the best
The Quarry is an excellent test of your golf skills. Played from the proper tees tee shots finding the fairway always leave a tough but fair approach. I really like the par fives and the greens are very fast and contoured allowing for some crazy putts. On this particular day I hit 8 iron on all the par 3s but usually the wind makes them play different. Oops, not number 14, a beauty 5 iron to 10 feet followed by a three whack. Terrific course conditions and great views. Not an easy walk.

There was a group of 5 in front of us. We waited on every hole. Should not be allowed
great value ,but eat before you get there
Great layout and in good condition. We played on a Sunday behind a tournament of non-golfers. But, that was not the problem. We ordered some food before we played. It was over priced , so we thought it would be the best hamburger we ever had. Wrong, the food was almost uneatable............Eat anywhere else but at the course.
