A bit confusing
A bit confusing at times with the lack of proper signage. The hand written tee deck signs are kind of funny. Not sure why a course this old can’t put more visible yardage markers on the fairways. It slows down play when I have to walk 30 yards to try and find a buried colours brick to know my yardage from the green. Just put stakes. Seriously. Also...the greens the are for more than one hole are fine...it was never a shooting gallery. Hard to figure out where the next tee is at times. Zero water on the course, so if you don’t like ponds and creeks...this is a great course for you.
Horrible
I love golf. It's tough for me to really dislike a golf course. I've found one I really hate. The layout is nonsensical. Long, long walks from green to tee. Balls literally flying everywhere. You hear "fore" and have no idea where it is coming from. I've never before had to walk in front of someone else's green to get to my tee. Walkers and cyclists on the fairways on multiple holes. And to top it off in the worst condition of any golf course I have played in North America or Europe in 35 years of golf. Quite simply horrible.
Dependable Course
Have played here many times throughout the years. Challenging holes and lots of elevation changes.
Has gone a little downhill as far a conditioning over the years. Greens putting slow this year. Bunkers terrible, little sand, clay base.
The price is decent compared to other courses in area. You can usually get a tee time..
It was really busy today, but play kept moving.
Lots more trees and thick brush than there needs to be. Should be thinned out, especially within course boundaries.
Garbage
Pro shop Guy-garbage
Tee boxes-garbage
Fairways-garbage
Greens-garbage
Seen a bum on every hole picking beer cans out of the trash bins
Played once and will never go back
Course condition and ambiance
Beautiful ambiance - Verdant trees and fairways- excellent green too. Well maintained overall.
Garbage
Not a flat spot or grass on majority of the tee blocks. Greens were long and didn’t offer a nice roll for your putts. No rewards for hitting fairways as they were mostly dead. I will never play here again. Might as well burn your money at golf town over paying to play this garbage course.
Decent Beginners Course
most holes are very open so for beginners learning how to play the sport, I would highly recommend
Not as good as expected
A few holes with over grown trees that make it almost impossible to place the ball on the fairway. Hole 16 has an actual public path through it ... lol couldn’t believe what I was seeing
Fun time
We had fun on the course with our son. Their was much difference from the only two tee blocks which made the course much longer for my wife. May want to watch that. Staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our round.
Great value but a struggle to get a carry
Staff was friendly. I pre-paid for the cart only to wait over 20mins for one. A better system is required for golf carts and possibly investing in more carts to keep up with the need of your clientele
Great value.
Consistent good greens
Fairways dry but ok
Rough really dry
Great value will play again
tight very dangerous as holes cross each other
condition a bit dry
260 yard par 3 is not doable for the average golfer
then there are par 4's that are less
with the pandemic, really think 1 cart per person should be the norm
